My earliest memories are of living on the streets. I have no recollection of parents or kin, save a locket around my neck containing a picture of a young elven couple holding a toddler (me?). The name engraved on the back of the locket is the one I have taken as my own. I have heard rumors of an elven trading envoy attacked by orcs around the same time as my earliest memories. I have done things to survive that I am not proud of but I shall never go hungry again, nor shall ANY child if I can help it. If one day I learn more of my lineage, so be it. One day I intend to pay a certain band of orcs a visit. Then they shall learn to fear the shadows. They will find that sometimes the shadows are alive with teeth of steel.
