  • Welcome to our Guild Walls

You have reached the Guild Walls of TrueWatch. We are a guild in the world of Norrath in the Time of the Rediscovery of Faydwer (EverQuest 2) and currently the oldest, and one of the few, Roleplaying Guilds in the realm of Splitpaw. The history of the Watch goes back to the Age of Turmoil (EverQuest 1), where its mother guild, EverWatch, was founded on Antonius Bayle in 2001.

As a Balanced Guild, the Watch is based on the principle of Familia, Persona et Valituris (Family, Role and Power). Its mission is "To make Norrath as real as possible for the greatest number of Norrathians as possible. Following the path we call The Way, helping all those of the Watch and fellow Norrathians to enjoy this world.”

    Truewatch Dreamworld Moot; Belgium 2007

    No alternate text supplied.

Thank you to all those who made the first Truewatch Dreamworld Moot a roaring success, in particular Vazquez and Tabitha (and friends) for all the hard work they put into organising all the events, accommodation, food and activities. It was wonderful to meet so many of the faces behind the characters we know so well and everyone agreed it was the best dreamworld moot we've had so far!

Photorgraphs of the event will be available shortly, we're just waiting for everyone to upload and label them.

We hope everyone had a great time and we look forward to seeing even more of you at the next one, which will be hosted by Uxian & Taraiha (England) in the summer of 2008.

    A Surprise Party
    Rhomany, Mar 11, 07 3:25 PM.

narzoo1Today a special surprise party was held in the Qeynos Tavern to celebrate Lady Narzoo Tyraith's second anniversary of joining the Watch.

Preparations were made in secret throughout the day so that the guest of honour would not know there was anything afoot.

"I wantedss to sshow Narzoo how much sshe was loved by Truewatch" said Lady Olonia, Chief Plotter party organiser. "It pained me greatly to keep it a secret and decieve her! But sshe needed reminding of why sshe iss sspecial!"

Lady Narzoo joined Truewatch in March 2005, quickly becoming one of the Gulid's co-leaders under the guidance of former leader and founder Lord Gunnyret.

To begin the evening's celebrations each one of Narzoo's friends in the guild thanked her in their own way for her contribution to the Watch and their own experiences in it.

Lady Olonia began the evening by explaining to Lady Narzoo (who had been brought to the Tavern under false pretences) the real reason for the gathering; that Truewatch had gathered to give Narzoo a gift. Narzoo was then presented with a bag of 50 platinum coins.

Lady Briarthorn told of meeting Narzoo and a friend, Mirshann (now hibernating). "We are so lucky you found us" said Lady Briarthorn, "you've made a dent in the heart of Truewatch that will never ever be filled because you've made it so special."

Lord Epok, who celebrated his own two year anniversary last month,  related his story of meeting Narzoo in the Wailing Caves whilst harvesting. "I will never forget when I met Narzoo for the first time face to face in those caves. The light of the true way was shining bright in her, back then, already and since then she has done great service to make Truewatch what it is today. Truewatch would not be the same without her."

Then each of the Watchers added their own personal tribute to the reknowned Iksar Warden for what they said was her kindness and how welcome she made each of them feel. "Ands for not pulling my tails" Lord Minks commented.

Then the celebrations began, as always with merry making, drinking and story telling.

During the celebrations Lady Briarthorn gave out promotion scrolls to Lord Silent, Lady Zaynah and Lord Aelisarde conferring Truewatcher, Watcher and Acolyte on them respectively.

Afterwards we caught up with Narzoo to get her take on the evening. "I was so shocked" she said "I could not think of anything to say. For once, I was speechless. A very rare moment."
