Figment has existed since humans began to create ideas of supernatural predators that stalked the innocent. By doing so, they actually gave birth to these creatures, known as figments. In this way, vampires, werewolves, zombies, etc. came to be. Figment is the ultimate 'figment' created to battle the others and protect the innocent from their own imaginations. Recently his job has become far more difficult, and Black has been sent to aid him in his task, now based in Paragon City.
