WHO WE ARE:


We are roleplayers (mostly Bothan) seeking deeper immersion in the Star Wars Universe. That is why we chose to play a classic race in a classic role. (Bothans which are Information Brokers) We will work for anyone that has money backing their request.  While we currently have mainly Neutrals but also accept Rebels and Imperials (because they can go places that neutrals cannot)  Prefer Bothan, but other races may fill roles available to them.

WE ARE NOW seeking All Races, All Professions and All Combat Levels! Mainly looking for Spies, Bounty Hunters, Entertainers and Smugglers, but we will accept nearly any profession.  To join OR to make use of our talents, please contact Qoryu in game by Mail or by /tell.

NOTE: Joining this guild will have only RP benefits. There will be no additional benefits. There is a main building complex with all necessary facilities located on Corellia, but that is about it.  We are for the most part, using someone elses territory to keep it masked... Other than that, you are on your own. You will receive only a contact on your datapad, and from there you will get missions. Where you sleep, what you eat, that is all on you. We will not be hanging out in large numbers, 3 at most. We will not be attacking anything at all, we will only be running and defending ourselves. We will be planted deep in other agencies to retrieve information, and will generally have to smuggle it back to base.  It is not a glorious job, but it has to be done. Sign up today!

The Galactic Intel Agency (Freelance) is now recruiting for our Corellia/Naboo operations.  The following position is being offered to potential recruits. 
 
The position will be designated Recruit or Trainee.  Candidates will receive the title of recruit or trainee until they complete training, or fail miserably, or optionally demonstrate reliability in the face of danger.  After this, they will either be promoted at the instructors discretion, or dismissed completely.  Job duties to include:
 
Information gathering
Infiltration
Spying
Retrieval of information or objects
Reporting to superior regularly
Other duties to be detailed in training.

Upon promotion, the following duties will be assigned:

Recruiting Underworld contacts
Administering Personnel
Training new recruits
Coordinating with underworld contacts

We are a roleplaying guild only.  Non RolePlayers need not apply.  A temporary membership is granted, and will become permanent only after training and roleplay has revealed that the recruit is worthy.  You do not have to be the best roleplayer, but you have to be willing to work on it.  Bothans and non Bothans are both accepted, but into different divisions with different jobs.

Galactic Intelligence agency <INTEL> is a compendium of former members of abranch of the Galactic Bothan Information Brokers Association and other intelligence agencies from across the core worlds.  We are now seeking employment in the fields of counterintelligence.   We will actively pursue items and or information which is requested of us by our employers in a professional and discreet manner.  We hope also to become an important part of player plots such as AROIP and others, functioning as neutral couriers and gatherers.  We will be open to ANY and ALL ideas.  Our members will all be strictly roleplayers, and since we are generally the type to avoid confrontation, you will not need to worry about PvP GodModing and such!  You will only have to worry about trying to catch us!

What we do:  We are roleplayers seeking deeper immersion in the Star Wars Universe.  That is why we chose to play a classic race in a classic role.  (Bothans which are Information Brokers)  We will be mainly working with Imperials as we begin because they have jobs for us at this point, and may also take on jobs for Rebels once they notice us and decide to employ us!  We will be accepting Neutrals (Preferred) as well as Imperial and Rebel alignments as they can go places that Neutrals cannot go, and that the opposite faction cannot go.  So long as they are loyal first to Intel and do as they are told without feeding false information or sabotauging our missions, I suppose that we don't really care about their faction.  We are at this point however comprised mainly of Neutrals.  We prefer recruits to be Bothan and former members of SpyNet, nonetheless Non-Bothans are accepted as well, and the same opportunities are made available to them.
 
How it works:  You as a guild, will put together an assignment or series of assignments similar to an in game mission.  The side that we are working against will be trying to stop us and counter us at every turn to prevent us from obtaining the information (Within reason, remember, you cannot see the tag above our heads!)  For the most part, this will be ad lib.  It will be a race against the clock for both us, and the people protecting the information.  We have also decided to take on non bounty people hunts.  We are sure that the persons in your organization are more than able to take care of the dirty business, however, finding these people is where we come in.  We will track down your mark for a modest fee, and keep you updated on his/her movements.
 
What to do:  Two things, if you are Bothan or a former intelligence agent, JOIN US!!!  If not, get your guild involved!  Ever complain about the in game missions?  Think you can write a better one?  Here is your chance!  Put together a mission to obtain an item or to gather information, and we will put our best information gatherers on it.  We will do our best to complete your objectives, and all the while, the opposing forces will be seeking to prevent us from doing so.
 
Conclusion:  If you like Role Play, and want to take it to the next level, this is your chance!  We are an Imperial/Neutral guild, and will gather information on ANY Rebels or ANY Imperials.  Our only loyalty is to whoever is willing to pay the most!  We will attempt to complete any objective (Within reason... we will not attempt to get items which are no longer in game etc...) and report back with the intelligence or item requested.  While doing so, the persons from whom we are attempting to extract information will be attempting to stop us.  Mind you, we are very well trained, and will die rather than give away the employer or the info requested to our captors.  Give us a shot!  Help your Role Play, help their Role Play, and help our Role Play!

EXAMPLE MISSION:
 
We need you to find <playername> who was last seen at the cantina in <city>.  He has a part to a new prototype <item>.  Get the part from him, and then take it to <playername>  He will give you another piece and inform you of what steps to take next.  Be very discreet, we do not want this to fall into iimperial hands.
 
OOC:  So our agent goes and gets both the parts, and is sent by your agent contact to Kashyyk where another agent is waiting, but has no ship to come home, so he will need to be brought home by our agent before he will give our agent the final piece.  Upon arriving home, he gives our agent the final piece to take to one of our artisans for assembly.  Upon assembly, we then deliver the completed part (Could be an Ore Recycler, and each of your agents has essential parts, or a tall bottle schematic... whatever) to the mission giver <guildleadername>.  all the while, the researchers that first created this top secret Ore Recycler are tracking us in attempt to prevent us from completing.
 
This is only an example.  If we fail, all parts will be given back to their respective owners.  If we complete... hooray, we did it!  Minimal payment as a reward for the players involved would be very nice, but not necessary.

RANK SYSTEM: (REVAMPED)

This is our current rank system, with an explanation of duties. It is of use to know, that most agents in this organization will not know each other at all. They do not live in the same city, share a common guild hall or anything else. They are trained in secrecy, and know only their commanding officer and the face of their contact. Tormenting them will never bring down the network, as no agent knows more than 2-3 other agents, and most of them on a face recognition only basis.

****Intelligence Command****

Overseer:  The Overseer is the head of the organization, and administers all operations.  He is competely unknown, and is never seen.  All of his commands are secure code encrypted to verify authenticity.  He communicates only with his District Commanders.
District Coordinator:  The District Coordinator is the right arm of the Overseer.  He alone knows the whereabouts of the Overseer, and he also is highly unknown.  There is a District Coordinator for each district in the solar system.  The most well known holder of this position is the District Coordinator of the Core Worlds.  He works only with the Intelligence Chiefs to ensure that operations are running smoothly.
Intelligence Chief:  The Intelligence Chief is in charge of all Three branches of intelligence within his jurisdiction.  There is one Intelligence Chief appointed for every planet, and in extreme cases, there may be two.  When there are two, the one with seniority is referred to as the Senior Intelligence Chief.

***Counter Intelligence***

Security Specialist:  The Chief Security Specialist is in charge of Counter Intelligence, and answers directly to the Intelligence Chief.  The main goal of the Security Specialist is to provide security and transport for the agents and the information that they are transporting.  This may be via convoy, or airlift.  The Security Specialist is a highly trained Soldier, and must be in extreme physical condition.
Retrieval Specialist:  The Retrieval Specialist is referred to as an Agent.  The agents main job is to infiltrate behind enemy lines, gain trust, and gain access to necessary sensitive information.  The agent is often trained in security systems hacking and slicing, as well as stealth.

**Operational Intelligence**

System Operations Specialist:  The Chief SOS is in charge of all other System Operations Specialists below him, as well as the POS and Coordinator.  The System Operations Specialist is trained in every imaginable computation system in the known galaxy.  This position requires a great deal of knowledge in alien technology and language.  The SOS agents are responsible for overriding codes and doors remotely, and guiding agents through complexes from a base station. 
Passive Operations Specialist:  Passive Operation Specialists are responsible for weapon manufacturing and upkeep, as well as distribution.  They ensure that all necessary elements are present and available for the Security and Retrieval Specialist.  Best suited to weaponsmiths and armorsmiths.

*Intentional Intelligence*

Cryptography Specialist:  The Cryptography Specialist is responsible for intercepting and decoding important transmissions, and is often inserted with the Security Specialists during a base raid in order to retrieve information directly.  This position requires the same training as a Retrieval Specialist, and additionally requires extremem physical condition.  This is a combat position.
Analytical Specialist:  The Analytical Specialist is responsible for making sense of all data retrieved, splicing together holes in the transmissions, and boosting clarity to ensure the best potential data restoration.  This may be filled by any person with extensive knowledge in communications and communication equiptment. 
Interrogation Officer:  This post is pretty much self explanitory.  Requires good "people skills" and a broad knowledge of the art of torture.  The IO must be able to extract the information required, and must be able to do so both by talking it out of the subject, or by causing as much pain to the subject as is bearable to the subjects species without causing the death or dismemberment of the subject.
Equiptment Specialist:  The Equiptment Specialist title is very misleading.  This position requires extreme knowledge of explosives and demolitions work.  The person filling this post must be in extreme physical condition, trained in basic infantry, and must have passed an extensive demolitions course.  This is the clean up person, that ensures that no one finds out who was there, but knows that someone was, in fact, there.

Why are there so many channels? Well, a captured recruit or agent can only tell what they know, and no more. It is impossible for a single captured agent to give away the entire chain of command, because chances are, they only know two other members, and they are those above themselves.  You may also have noticed that there are no "ranks" per se'... rather, everyone performs their job as a single unit.  This insures efficient completion of the job!
