Nek server forums
Welcome to the home of Forsworn, an Everquest 2 guild on the Nektulos server. We are a small guild focused on taking our time and exploring much of the content, old and new, that we skipped in the initial rush to 50, 60, and then 70. We are a close knit family and have members of varying levels of gaming experience, but all are willing to lend a hand when asked.
Where the Guild is now!

It's been some time since I've last talked about the guild and where we're going. It's an exciting time for us both in-game and in the world. Real life crises and happenings can take a toll on any guild, moreso in a small tight knit guild such as our own. With that, I bid fond farewell to longtime friend Sladya and wish her best of luck in her return to the Atratus Brotherhood. I hope she is able to bring them back from the brink and reestablish one of the Old Blood guilds from prior to the merge. I would also like to announce the birth of my second son, Matthew, a week ago yesterday. There were a few suprises that came with that but with help of some friends we were able to overcome those.
Forsworn grew a few folks and lost a few folks. On the bright side, our push to join the Small Guild Alliance succeeded and we already feel the benefits of that. I will be posting some of the loot drops from the raids I have been able to attend. They are well led and the tactics are sound. Thus far, the allied guildies have all been excellent companions. The schedule includes T6 and T7 raids so there's something for those 55+ to do. Healers and DPS toons are always needed for these. Try and sign up early to ensure your spot, we have been filling all four groups pretty consistently.
As we stated we've lost some people and need to look at continuing to grow the guild. We'll continue to look at merging other guilds in with ours, as well as trying to recruit folks on the Sony Forums, and (unfortunately) the ingame channel announcements. I would really like to see us with about twelve more folks. Additionally, there is room for advancement as well. We need some fresh blood and new ideas in the officers circle to help move us along.
All in all, Forsworn perseveres where others have faltered. We carry on and advance the guild and ourselves. We've remained true to our principles. There is much honor and satisfaction to be had in that.
State of the Guild

Forsworn is growing slowly and steadily in numbers and levels. We've recruited several quality folks in past week or two and that can only make us better. We have also gained level SIXTEEN (and a little more). We have joined the Nektulos Small Guild Alliance so that those that wish to are able to raid. We're currently looking at merging a few guilds in with our own to bolster numbers and playtime for all. We continue to look for new folks of any level to join us. Just so long as they are good folks, that's all we're looking for. We can train up players returning or new to EQ2, and we have no problems going and mentoring folks to get those levels up with guild groups.
Our big push should be for guild level 20. We get upgraded housing and mounts as well as another bank slot. HQ guides are available in the forums with a handy writ guide in the works. The writ guide will be geared towards Freeport writs and provide the recommended groups of writs for the level. The recommended writs are based on the proximity or similarity of mobs (ie 3 writs share same mob in different numbers, or has mobs that are typically co-located).
We'll also be looking at working on some banners for the guild and creating signatures for our guildies in the near future.
