House Vermillion

In the dark days when Prince Arthas Menethil laid seige to Quel'Thalas and corrupted the Sunwell, the members of the Convocation of Silvermoon were killed along with our beloved King Anasterian.  One of the deepest losses was that of Illia'thas, senior member of the Convocation and personal advisor to the King.

In the aftermath of that assault and the sickness that followed, the once great House of Vermillion fell into chaos.  Now the two sons of Illia'thas, Alekto and Valmorgul, struggle to gather together the scions of their once great house.

Alekto is the elder son, but he abdicated his position of Head of House to his younger brother in order to focus on solutions to the problems plaguing the sin'dorei.  Until such time as Valmorgul marries and produces an heir, Alekto continues as the Heir Apparent.

For his part, Valmorgul is focused on gathering the members of the family that are already in the world rather than marriage and producing a new heir.  Of lighter complexion than his brother, he is the one with a darker drive to restore the family to its former glory and power.

For now, the family of House Vermillion regathers its strength.  The two brothers work closely with Grand Magister Rommath to build their personal power, and with their family members at large to petition Lor'themar Theron, Regent, for the reformation of the Convocation.
