HONOR YOUR GUILD AND BELIEVE IN IT.
We
are here to have fun, and to help each other. Please be sure that we
are doing this above all. If you guys are not having fun, let us know
what we can do to help.
RESPECT THE GUILD.
KoS has
the potential to be one of the best guilds on the server and we are
working towards that goal. If everyone works together, it can be done.
When partying up or transacting with other players, treat them as you
would want to be treated. You are a representative of our guild, do not
trash it.
Be respectful to each other in all
interactions such as guild chat, on the forums, in ventrillo, and in
groups and raids. No inappropriate references are allowed; this
includes references to sexual preferences, race, ethnicity, and gender.
We will not tolerate mean-spirited behavior, which includes threats to
another player, derogative comments, insults, or harassment.
Even if you do not find a comment or a
line of conversation to be inappropriate, if someone else asks you to
please change the subject, or let's you know they are uncomfortable
with it please respect that. Always respect the feelings of others
If you are not respectful to others, how can you expect respect in return?
PUBLIC Etiquette.
Be
respectful in public. This means absolutely no swearing in General,
Trade, LookingForGroup, or LocalDefense. No inappropriate Spamming in
General, Trade, LookingForGroup, or LocalDefense channels are allowed.
We want to make good impressions on the WoW community. Carry yourself
with dignity at all times and mind your tongue.
PLAY WITH THE GUILD.
If
you are in this guild, we expect you to be in it for the members. I
understand that we all want to get EPIC items and sooner or later we
will get them. Guild members that have registered with the website are
eligible for guild help; running instances for gear, or questing or
farming mats for crafting. Please do what you can to help out!!! Good
deeds go along way here.
Remain active in the guild. This means
you need to participate on the forum regularly, attend any guild
meetings held, in guild runs and events regularly and log in at a
minimum of once every thirty days. If circumstances do not allow you to
do so, let an officer know.
Always be patient. Do not demand items
or help questing and expect people to yield to your wants and desires
on your timetable. Do not ever beg another member to run you thru an
instance if you do not need the instance to complete a quest. Also do
not ask to be run thru an instance if you have not tried to find a
group of players your own level to run the instances with.
Brotherly / Sisterly Love.
We are a family. We work together. Abusing crafters to get items will not be allowed.
For
example, if you have the guild tailor make you spider silk boots, they
should be worn, not made only to be disenchanted. That constitutes
crafter abuse.
Share your professions with the guild.
Do not at any point in time constantly beg for money and items. Asking for a loan is perfectly fine but to constantly beg is pathetic and frowned up on.
Be mindful that people make mistakes.
Bad pulls happen a lot. We do not need people calling each other names
such as NOOB, loser… Such activities inflate problems. If someone makes
a mistake, tell them, so that they will be mindful and learn from it.
With that being said, if you constantly
make the same mistakes, you’re obviously not trying your best to
improve. It is your job to learn how to play your character. If you
cannot play your character, you risk removal from the guild. Everybody
in wow has made a mistake, no matter what they say. If it was a genuine
mistake, go with it, fix the problem, and move on. We do not hold
grudges against people because they make a few mistakes.
We are a team. KoS are encouraged to
group together to complete quest and run instances. Always try to group
with guildie’s with in your level.
Do not be selfish. Help guild crafters
by donating any extra materials that you come across. If you are in an
instance with other guildie’s share any ore, herbs, and skinning with
others in the group. DO NOT need every single roll if others need new
items and you have won previous items.
When someone asks for help, please be
kind enough to help them if it is possible. Do not greet people with
sarcasm or dismiss them when they ask a question. Do not intentionally
give guildies as well as other members of the WOW community incorrect
directions and answers.
TEAMWORK.
We
want team players at KoS. We want people who know MMORPG'S are more
than just about the individual player. We want players who enjoy
working as a team. Team up with your fellow guildies and remember
without them we are nothing!!!
LOYALTY.
We
will be gearing you up and will all be investing time into each other.
If you feel this isn't the guild for you, you are always free to
communicate and see if we can make things better for you and ultimately
leave if things don't work out with you. Those who stay loyal to the
guild will be ultimately rewarded with fame and riches beyond your
dreams.
Be loyal to each other. Do
not discuss guild business with those outside of the guild. DO not
share guild ventrillo information with those outside of the guild. Do
not publicly undermine, insult, or ignore a fellow guildie.
COMMUNICATION.
Without
communication there is no guild. Please feel free to talk to anyone in
the guild and everyone should respond likewise. It is not very fun to
talk to a brick wall so please try not to ignore people. Also there is
no such thing as a stupid question. I would rather be a fool for a
minute than a fool for a lifetime. We will have many means of
communication from this website to Vent, so please use them.
PRIDE.
This is your guild so take pride in it.
