Welcome to REVELATIONS!

 
In Revelations we play with an emphasis on community, fun, discovery, adventure, and learning. We don't aspire to be the best, but rather to have a lot of fun. We believe that there is no real end game, since the World of Warcraft is filled with opportunities for endless amusement and adventure.

Revelations is made up mostly of mature, casual players.  We are NOT a raiding guild but we will do 10 man content on a very casual basis and hope to someday venture into 25 mans.  We have lots of 80s, soon to be 80s and alts as well as low and mid level characters.  We do the 5 man instances/heroics when we can. And we're okay with that.

The Guild Leader and Officers generally expect the guild to run itself since we are mature, reasonable folks.  Issues should be handled at the lowest possible level.  Personality conflicts are not guild issues.  Loot is handled by Loot Council (Guild Leaders/Officers/trusted advisors) and random rolls. 

Our principles are: 

  * Casual gamer and alt friendly. 
  * Insistence on mature and sportsmanlike game play. 
  * Discouragement of juvenile behavior and whining.
  * Open door policy.

Revelations specifically tries to avoid:

* Attention grabbing elites, annoyances and tattletales.
 * Blizzard-bashing serial whiners.
 * Bores who use more than 50% their share of guild chat.
 * Loot police who need to deconstruct every drop.
 * Griefing, harassment, cheaters, and thieves.

What Revelations expects from you
- A helpful and supportive attitude. Revelations is about helping and having fun. Soloing is fine, but please help others now and then as well.
- Keep guild business in the guild. Any community will have it's drama and issues. Please get these resolved in private. Talking to an officer or using the forums is the place to do this, not guild chat.
- Treat non-guild players with due respect. We don't expect you to be an angel. Just don't make us look bad. Remember you have the guild name floating over your head.

I know this is a lot of information but as I have looked for guilds in the past, the more information I could find out about the guild philosophies gave me a better idea if I would be a good fit or not.
