Company of the Red Rooster is a group of real-life friends who play Everquest together.  We also played D&D together for many years in the imaginary world of Spring Green, a Barony in the Kingdom of Akkadia.  Many of our D&D characters were honorary members of Company of the Red Rooster in Spring Green due to their great heroic deeds.

    Company of the Red Rooster was a mercenary group of adventurers from
    Spring Green.  When they saved Spring Green from destruction, the King of
    Akkadia elevated one of their members, Lambor, to the Baronage.  The others
    became pillars of the community and today they are a resource to Spring
    Green's newest batch of brave adventurers.

In ancient times, "to set the red rooster" meant to set fire to a captured enemy village or outpost.

We created this guild so that our Everquest alts would have a place to call home.  Although we may in the future, at this time we are not accepting new members.
