Introduction

There are whispers about it on the streets. Some of them good, some bad; all of them mysterious, and none of them helpful.

So what have you come looking for? Follow the rumors to the Pawnshop and perhaps, if you've something to offer, we can come to an "arrangement."

Welcome, all, to Pawnshop Ltd., the face and legitimate business side of the Pawnshop Syndicate (PS), a neutral trade and commercial/crime organization. We are a likable and fun group of people that focus on heavy to hardcore roleplay. If you've got an inkling for subtle manipulations or sneaky information-gathering, more than simple thievery or information brokering, than the Pawnshop Syndicate may well be the place for you.

IC, PS focuses on the control and manipulation of information throughout all of the cities, but particularly in our base of operations-- Freeport. Money and profit are important, and we most certainly persevere for the acquisition of these things; but sometimes there is more to life than simple currency: political control, mastery of information, great influence. PS strives for all of these things and more.

OOC, PS focuses on hosting our own roleplay events (including Soulfire and other clubs/taverns), but also doing all we can to assist other guilds with their own RP plots. It is very important to us to keep a healthy and friendly community atmosphere so that we may, in the future, create, aid, or attend large RP events and raids that a host of different guilds can take part in and enjoy.

Right now we are a small organization, but we hope to gather more like-minded individuals and also expand our list of IC and OOC guild alliances. If you've got a character concept you think would gel with the business/crime syndicate theme, by all means contact myself or Vorik in-game, via mail here, or on the forums. Lore will be up in the appropriate section soon, as will character guidelines on the applications forum.

Remember: To enact great change (or acquire great profit), sometimes all it takes is a ripple.
