As a reward to myself for enduring the near-constant grind of marking this time of year (and to keep morale up as it ain't over yet), I bought my pre-order digital copy of Guild Wars 2 (fingers crossed the broadband doesn't slow to the speed of continental drift again when it comes time to download...)

Anyone else taken the plunge? (it may have been available for pre-purchase for a while - me being me I only just noticed...)

Having never played GW I will be giving this a spin, mainly to see what the world pvp is like, so keen to follow any other TSMers.

I may well be giving that a try (Finances permitting) as I have seen some interesting things about GW2. I like that the Tank/Healer/DPS has been sperated from the class so any class can fulfil any role no name but one of the interesting things.

I liked GW, not the questing stuff I found that clunky, but the "jump into a random group of 4 and see how you get on" part.
GW2 looks a bit more interesting so I'll probably be having a go too.

After a positive review from a friend, iv'e buyed it too....let's choose a server and we can estabilish some TSM presence also in GW2.

Not sure how many people are planning on playing given the closeness of Rohan. But there's a nominated EU RP server (unofficial - chosen as such by players) which is Piken Square, as far as I can tell. I'll probably be playing there and anyone welcome to join. If server changes or anything pre-launch, I'll post again. I think there won't be that many playing!

I may take the plunge after the newness of Rohan wears off.... and I'm level 85 (or whatever max level is)... of course.
