If you are under level 20 your recruitment into the kinship will be delayed until you hit level 20.  This is not due to any requirement to level, it is due to 75% of all recruits that quit the game do so before level 20.

Tirn en Taur

 

Elves have long sent companies into the wilds to defend the lands of Elf and Man.  The most renowned of these companies were the Marchwardens of Doriath lead by Beleg Strongbow.  When Beleg left the Marchwarden's they continued to serve Doriath until its fall at the end of the First Age. Over the millenia other companies have come and gone, all serving as the Marchwardens did in the defense of the lands of Elves and Men against the Darkness.

We are the Tirn en Taur. Established in 2040T.A by the White Council  and sent to assault Dol Guldur in 2941 T.A. we were kept together after the assault to 'watch' the lands around the Great Forests of the elves and guard the ways to Mithlond so that all elves may pass to the West in safety.  Now in the year 3019 of the Third Age our duties are divided; aid the Malledhrim in Southern Mirkwood, escort the caravans to the West and protect the Heir of Isildur and the sons of Elrond as they enter the Enedwaith.  We are the soldiers of Cirdan, fulfilling our duty in all regions of Middle Earth to ensure the defeat of Sauron and his minions. We will follow our captain, Ornendir, until the last of our people go into the West. This is our Oath.

If you are looking for a lore based, elven RP kinship then this may be the place for you.  We are a group of mature roleplayers creating a lore-appropriate kinship to live our virtual lives in Middle Earth. While we are not Tolkien elitists and do not wish to discourage those with limited knowledge of the setting we do expect people to be able to research the lore using Encyclopedia of Arda or the Wikipedia Middle Earth Portal. We consider ourselves a teaching and learning kinship and will help those willing to abide by Tolkien’s works.
