That's right the boys are back and you get to be one of them. As a 3rd sequal to the movie films this new video game has a script written by Dan Akryod and the guy that played Spenglar in the movies. All the main actors worked closely on this game and did voice overs for it so the game has your expected ghostbusters feel to it includign the comedy. Some supporting actors from the movies also apparently came by the studios for voice acting with thier characters as well so we could see other familiar faces. The Game is schedualed to release pre-orders on the 16th of this June and so far from the trailers and other videos it looks GREAT! here is the newest released HD trailer:

yes..yes...A MILLION TIMES YES! this is AWESOME! omg. this year! yes! *dances* I'm gonna have to buy that. oh screw that I'm gonna camp out in a ghostbusters custume.

So it looks like you just run around and shoot ghosts with that endoplasma whatever the gun was called.  Hmmm kinda boring.

No it's not just that there is a storyline to everything as I mentioned when I said the script for the game was made by Dan Akryod as a 3rd sequal to the movies, you get to destroy the enviroment (jsut like the ghostbusters in the show, and there is a damage meter that you can send into over drive when you do it for points), also EVERY ghostbusters device is in the game from the ectopacks to the traps and the slime guns (which you see a brief shot of in the video). You even get to drive ECTO1 aka thier car. You are a new recruit for the ghost busters so your helping them capture ghosts and save the city.

I'm very tempted to watch Ghostbusters and GhostBusters 2 on like hulu or what not tonight lol. I can't stop playing the trailer for the gmae right now just to here the ghostbusters theme music playing lol.

Got another video here of the game, this one is from before sierra dropped the title and gave it to atari but it shows the game and compares it to the movies.
