Sounds like most of the IT jobs I have had. Being the NetAdmin I can go a week stretch at a time, doing what Hexx is doing, surfing everything in sight. The bosses might not like it, but the odd thing is, if I am idle for a day or two, that means things are working, no fires to put out, no emergencies to handle, and if thats the case, that must mean I am doing a good job of keeping the network stable where everyone can work their 8+ hours a day. But I also remind them of how just 3 weeks ago that new virus was attacking the Exchange server and shutting email down every 15mins, which took me 15 hours of non-stop hussle to fix and stablize...so there are those moments.

This a suggestion for you Hexx, might make it more easier for you then posting, but find out if Tog is on some kind of IM whether it be AOL, MS, or Yahoo, make a quick login, and use that to chat. You'll know when he's on and the message is...we instant, and you won't have to wait to see if he is posting

The quick answer is no, I'm not on anything like that. I'vethought about setting one up for then I'm here and thr GF is either atmy house or at her friend's house.

Another solution might be that little chat button at the top of thisscreen. Does it work? Is is a chatroom type thing? Will Don ever find out what happened to Ruth during that weekend inDuluth? Enquiring minds...
well probably couldn't care less. But seems worth asking.

Not really sure how the guild portal chat thingy works. Perhaps you and Hexx can give it a whirl and let us all know how it works out

I was under the impression the chat function was tied into the mail function somehow, could be wrong though.

I believe it’s a java application. It’s not the most stable, but it has come in handy when Anarchangel and I were first setting up the site, giving instantaneous feedback on graphic updates.

Wow…I’ve never been yelled at by a pop-up blocker. I’ve been slapped around and called Shirley by the mapserver a few times, but that’s about the extent of my abuse by the computer.
