Sparkle Motion was one of the first Super Groups to form on the Freedom Server. It was founded on the principal that playing with a group of friends is better than playing solo or looking for pick-up teams. Originally we met online only by chance. We adventured as individuals and used the group as a source of reliable teammates. Experimentation with origins and archetypes was the order of the day and many of our characters have not exceeded security level 30.
We have since evolved our thinking about the team experience and high level play. An "A-Team" has been formed of characters played only in weekly meetings. Chosen for their complimentary skills and ability to handle tough situations without flinching. This new "A-Team" has exceeded all expectations.

The once and always theme of Sparkle Motion still holds true. That is we wish to recruit honest and fun players who truly enjoy CoH and aren't bent on exploiting the game or cheating themselves by circumventing the challenges put to their Hero. Our current emphasis is on our "A-Team" characters. We meet weekly on Sundays at 7:00 PM EST. All members are welcome to bring in secondaries and use the team as a resource for reliable grouping.

Role playing is not emphasized in the group but there are a few outlets for it. In game we do not role-play. On the guild site there are a few areas where role-playing is either featured or encouraged to enhance the experience of one's own character and events important to Sparkle Motion. All members are encouraged, though not required, to participate. Participation isn't ranked or kept track of it's simply there to add to the enjoyment of CoH.
