The Hawks Creed- A Dedication to Jeckle/TrigThe single most common characteristic I see in our finest people is the team player. This is the person who is willing to fall into whatever role is asked of them; the person who puts the guild and their fellow members before themselves. Our team players have been guild leaders who serve their terms and then later take on lower ranks and supporting roles because it is needed. Our team players have been new recruits who only had young toons and 3 weeks of game experience, but they insisted on showing up to help with anything in any small way because they wanted to pitch in.Team players will join a group and, when the leader is established, they will follow that persons lead even if they think they could do it better. They will spend 5 hours power leveling new members because they know that it is better for the guild that a new member reaches higher than it is for them personally to reach the upper levels. They are willing to spend as many hours just messing around doing mining/farming or understanding their role so that we can perform better when it counts. When you think about it, just about everything we look for in our recruitment or promotional process can circle back to this one key trait that defines a persons decisions and actions. The team player will come when they think they are needed, they will take the lead in something when it is required, they will follow with just as much loyalty, and they will give whatever they have to help the guild and it's people. In return, the guild and its people will offer the same commitment to them. Hawks will make that commitment to you, do you have what it takes to lead in Hawks!
