Welcome to Deaths Disciples very own Lottery!!!!Hello everyone!! We are now running a guild lottery and I just wanted to lay the rules out, so there is no confusion. With the help of our guild Council, we have come up with a good way to have fun...and hopefully have no problems...lol.How a ticket is purchased: A ticket is purchased by simply going to your friendly neighborhood mailbox and sending 40s to myself. I will be keeping track of all ticket purchases on an Excel spreadsheet, which can be viewed by all Council members, upon asking me.Fees: Once I recieve a ticket from member, I will then send 10s of the 40s directly to the Guild Bank. I will also be sending the name of the person, as well as the number that person rolled, with the 10s to the bank. This will allow our guild bank to grow, but at the same time we are trying our luck. As with a past member, I WILL NOT be taking any profit off the top. I will only disperse the purchase of a ticket between the guild bank and the lottery bank.Winning: The winner will be determined by a roll from myself. I will make sure a fellow Council member is present, so there will be no way of error. If that number matches any of the current numbers rolled, the member with the matching number, will win the pot. If however, the number rolled does not match any of the numbers sent by a member, the jackpot will roll over to the following week. This will keep happening until one member is finally declared the winner.Other: Each member will be allowed the purchase of three tickets per week.Each Sunday at 10pm eastern, I will make the drawing for the number. If the winner is not present at the time, I will notify the Council and send a letter to the winner with the amount of the pot.As with everything else...I appreciate any and all ideas or problems, so I can ensure we are all happy!!
