Atfirst, the Toolbar was designed to be an aid for people playing in theRaven Mythic, and listeners of Radio Free Norrath, but it's become toopopular, and too useful, to just be for something so limited. So, outwent the Raven Mythic logo, and in came something more generic. We havelinks to various community and guild web sites, and anything elseuseful that could be thought of.

If you want your guild added tothe toolbar, or you have another suggested link, by all means, let meknow. The users of the toolbar automaticly get updates to it each timethey open a browser window.

It's essentially a Google toolbar,customized for EQ2 players, and Google is a partner in the company thatprovides the software for the toolbar.

As always, if you haveanything you think should be added here, be it your guild, a web comic,a favorite artist, whataver, by all means, feel free to let me know.

02/11/08 - Update Notes

Time for yet another update of the toolbar! Zophrenia get a lot ofcredit this time around for suggesting several important updates that Ihadn't thought of before. 80% of the update should be credited to her.Please note that the Crafiting sections have been moved, we've added aNews section, and several old and inactive links have been removed.

08/27/08 - Update Notes:

It's been more than three months since my last update, and it's time for some changes and new functionality. But first off, a big thanks to everyone who has been supporting the toolbar. We're getting close to 1,000 installed copies. Granted, that includes re-installs, and people with multiple computers, but I'm looking forward to hitting the 1K mark!

Guilds:

Events Listing:

My biggest single change for this update was to add an RSS syndicator into the Raven Mythic, and then cross-link it to the toolbar, to form a kind of alerts system to let people know when a new event was posted. At this point, I can't syndicate events information from our friends at the Town Square forums, but I'm working on it.

Antonia Bayle Toolbar:

1000 Installs!:

Iwas shocked today to discover that we have had over a thousand installsof the AB Toolbar, and though it's far more likely that 300 or sopeople have installed the toolbar three times, it's still an impressivenumber to me. A big thank you to everyone who has supported, installed,and enjoyed the toolbar. A special thanks to those people who helped bycontributing links and guild information.

Guild Removals:

Guardians of the Faydark (Good) has disbanded and been removed from the list of guilds.

Guild Additions:

Sigils (Neutral) has been added to the list of neutral-aligned guilds.

Links:

Thelink for "About the Toolbar" was broken, and has been fixed. You wouldthink that I would at least check the links where I shamelessly promotemyself.

World of Roleplayers Radio has been added to the main list of links, see below for more details.

Radio Player, Now With Podcasts:

OurRadio Player has been updated quite a bit, and there are more revisionsto come. I've made a minor graphical update to make it look a bitnicer, but the bigger changes are in the meat of the player. Severalnew stations have been added to give you news, gaming news andamusements, and so on.

The most important addition this timearound is "World of Roleplayers Radio". Those of you who know Telfin& KrystaNyssa already may know that they are also WoW roleplayersand DJ on WoR Radio. I've been in off and on discussions with themabout simulcasting their sets on RFN, and getting a littlecross-promotion going. We haven't made any firm plans yet, but I lovetheir show, and their station, so I figured listing them would be agood idea.

There is one other multi-MMO radio show called"Norrathian Pirate Radio", though I didn't have the information neededto post about it this update. I'll likely be doing that later this week.

To select a station from the new list of stations, simply click the green area on the toolbar, like so:



I'veadded in a few stations that appealed to me, because I could, but I ammore than willing to add in your favorites and put them into the list.I can accommodate just about any online radio station you like thatallows free streaming, and just about any podcast that has it's own RSSfeed (most do). So, by all means, if you want to add something to thelist, just let me know!

05/07/09 - Update Notes:

Search:

A small bug in Download.com searches has been fixed. And by small bug, I mean they weren't working. They are now.

Scythe Happens:

A new button has been added to the toolbar, which will link you directly to the web comic "Scythe Happens", with artwork by Savriel, and story by Darinelle.

Artist Alley:

Another new button added will take you to our "Artist Alley", where some of your fellow players have produced some truly amazing traditional artwork, digital renders, and photographs.

05/08/09 - Update Notes:

RFN DJ Status:

Forlisteners of RFN, I've added a new button. Red indicates a live DJ,gray indicates the station is on Basic Mode. If you would rather useRFN's "miniplayer", or listen to RFN on you own software (WinAmp,iTunes, etc.), just click on the RFN button to be taken to thestation's home page. The toolbar will check for a live DJ every fiveminutes.

Searches:

The Urban Dictionary has been added to the custom searches.

LOL Cats has been added to the custom searches.

Podcasts:

The Onion Radio News has been added to the list of podcasts.

Additionally,recently played stations and podcasts are in a sub-menu, rather thantaking up space on the station drop-down list. To access to stationlist, click the little blue part of the radio player.

01/06/10 - Update Notes:

Over 1,000 installations! As we head into 2010, I have a bunch of new features I plan on adding to the toolbar, but first some housekeeping was in order. Today's update is mostly edits and deletions, with additions coming this week if at all possible. As always, your toolbar should update automatically within a day or so of this posting, and faster if you use the "Refresh Toolbar" function that you access from the tools menu (the little down-pointing arrow on the left side of the toolbar).

Keep your eye out for the next round of updates!
