Prelude

Things to watch out for: Bonepiles, Loremasters, Summoners, and Brutes.
Bonepiles: scattered about the instance are bone piles.  If a player gets too close to one, a 42k EM spirit spawns which can summon 4k skeletons.  By themselves, they are trivial; however, if a player is tossed into one or near one during a fight, they can be quite a nuisance.  Sometimes these will be activated purposely before more intense fights so as to not accidentally activate them during the fight.
Loremasters: These are 22k morale mobs who have a real nasty aoe knockback.  The thing about these knockbacks is that they are very powerful.  They can throw you into a previous room (or next room) and cause you to activate bonepiles or even agro more mobs.  They can also knock you out of the keep in a few spots which is insta-death, and if this happens, retreat and run back immediately unless it's a full wipe.  These Loremasters are usually taken out first.  They can be feared, stunned and otherwise interrupted.
Brutes: These have a 30s absorption bubble which they apply throughout the fight.  When it's up, DPS surrounding mobs so that the brute will take the damage.  If the brute is the only mob, you just have to wait out the bubble.  DPSing him will damage him but for very small amounts.  Might as well auto-attack while you wait.
Summoners: These summon ghosts about every 30 seconds.  Often times these are mez'd or chain-feared while the Loremasters are killed.  The ghosts become a real problem if you don't control the situation quickly as you will get overwhelmed.
Brutes: These guys have a quick induction buff which absorbs all damage done to nearby mobs.  Do not target the brute when this buff is up.  You'll know it's up because it looks like he has a red, translucent shield on.  If you get one of these by themselves and he activates his buff, hold off DPS until the buff wears off in 30 seconds.  Also, a burglar can conjunct them (via trip, or whatever) which can keep him from activating this buff, but the induction is very fast and not interruptible.

First room

Contributed by Harlinator:
Activate this room and 4-5 guards come.  It's not hard, but when you are down to one to two guards, move to the back of the room, up the stairs, and activate the alarm.  You will get 4-5 additional guards.  Kill them down to 1 or 2, then engage the Brute.

Second room

Contributed by Harlinator:
Pull the first group into the hallway or even down into the first room.  Watch for bonepiles in here.  There are several pulls that are not difficult as long as you get them separately.  Some followships can pull the entire room without difficulty.

Third room

More bonepiles.  And look out for the loremaster knockbacks.  This room can cause a wipe if you are not careful with your position.  Usually CC the loremaster here and kill everything else first.

Urchir

Contributed by Harlinator:
Pull the trash mobs around the middle pedestal where the boss is out into the previous room/hallway and fight them there.  When all trash mobs are dispatched, move into the room along the wall to the right and stand on the corner area that is between 2 floor grates (this is a triangular shaped section between 4 and 5 o'clock, positionally).  During the fight, fire will rise up out of the floor grates and you don't want to be standing on them when this happens.  This is very similar to the HoC 2nd boss mechanic.

Urchir: ~193k morale
Phase 1: Have the tank park him in front of the group and lay into him.  When Urchir calls out your name, there are two possibilities.  If he warns you about burning, then everyone needs to GROUP UP on you.  Urchir will then hit you with a distributed damage fire attack.  The more people grouped up, the less damage each person takes.  If you are by yourself, this might be a fatal attack.  If he says something else (I can't remember the phrase) you have a few seconds to MOVE AWAY from the group or it will cause an AoE stun and can do some significant damage to yourself.  At approximately 65k morale, Urchir will start phase 2.
Phase 2: Fire will start spreading across the floor and it is VERY deadly.  Move Urchir around the room while DPSing.  Do not get separated from your tank.  The fire can actually divide the group if you are not staying together.  Otherwise, it is not overly difficult.

Hallway #1

Contributed by Harlinator:
Our suggestion is that after Urchir is dead, pull the first group of mobs in the hallway and dispatch them.  Once this is done, then loot Urchir's chest.  There is also a bonepile right next to the chest.
There are more mobs and bonepiles in the hallway leading up to Alagossir's chamber.  You may want to purposely activate the bonepiles before making the final pull here, but it's not necessary.  The group at the end of the hallway usually requires some CC: mez or chain-fear.  Use the CC then run past the mobs and put your back up against the gate to Alagossir's room.  Kill the Loremaster first as this one can toss you out of the keep.

Alagossir

Contributed by Harlinator:
Alagossir: ~193k Morale
Phase 1: Non-melee classes need to stand somewhat close, but out of his melee range.  When he calls your name, you have a few seconds to MOVE INTO MELEE range or you will take a significant smiting of damage.  There are a few waves of urfong-type mobs that can root you (it's not a stun).  Be careful as you can be rooted when Alagossir calls your name.  That's gonna leave a mark.
Phase 2: Calling down the thunder...
I forgot to take a pic of the map, but we'll get some pics up showing the progression of lightning.  During this phase, Alagossir just stands on his platform and calls down lightning which hits the floor in a definite pattern.  The AoE of the lightning is larger than the actual animation that it makes, so stay away.  It won't necessarily kill you immediately, but it might.  RK's Do Not Fall to Lightning is helpful if available.  Ranged DPS is a must at this point.  Hunters go STR stance.  Avoid the lightning and kill him.
We found a new strategy which requires you to group up in the corners at the back of Alagossir's pedestal.  You can stand here and not get hit by the lightning from phase 2.  However, I would not be surprised if Turbine fixes this so either you can't stand there or that the lightning can hit you multiple times there.

Hallway #2

Contributed by Harlinator:
Watch the bonepiles which you may want to purposefully activate.  Loot Alagossir's chest.  The group at the end is a Brute, a Loremaster and 2 Summoners. Kill the loremaster due to their AoE knockback.  Be careful of positioning.  Melendria got tossed over the wall to the right which forced him to retreat and run back.  In hindsight, it was humorous.  At the time, not so much.  Continue to pull the next groups as you go until you are ready to enter Gorothul's chamber.
