Chapter I : Making Our Mark

1070 AE - Months before the great Kingdom of Ascalon was scarred by the firey assault of the Charr, (the event known as The Searing) each member of the Evenfeather family was set forth on separated paths that spared them from this horrible tragedy, except for one. Eris, the first daughter of Evenfeather was left behind to take charge of the hired workers and look after the homestead farm and moa stables.

1071 - 1072 AE - After The Searing, Eris joins the Vanguard to help protect Ascalon from the invading forces of the Charr. One year later she resigns from the service in good standing to form a guild of rangers known as The Marksmen. This group of rangers continues their own organized efforts against the Charr and grow to nearly seventy members and officers. The Marksmen also helped Prince Rurik to escort Ascalon refugees across the Shiverpeaks to build a new home in Kryta.

Eris and The Marksmen discover an ancient and mysterious text that speaks of a prophecy known as The Destiny Of The Arrow. Many scholars attempt to decipher and translate the text with very little success. The details of the text are still a subject of much speculation and constant re-interpretation. One such interpretation, led The Marksmen to form an alliance of ten guilds in which each guild represented a profession. Though the alliance was short lived, The Sovereign Alliance Of The Marksmen is still the only known alliance of it's kind. The historical records of this alliance are still being recovered from the island where The Marksmen once lived.

As the alliance begins to crumble, it's leaders and members including Eris of Evenfeather, set out on their separate paths, leaving The Marksmen legacy buried within the sands of time. Afterward, Eris bought passage on a ship to Cantha to find her 2nd and 3rd sisters, Aria and Ayez, who, just months before The Searing, had been invited to travel and train under the instructors at Shing Jea Monastery. Upon her arrival, Eris learned of the Afflicted Plague that had spread across Cantha. In an effort to find her sisters, she offered her skills and expertise as a ranger to help Emperor Kisu put an end to the deadly Affliction, which had been brought on by the most skillful and deadly assassin known in Canthan history. Chapter II: When Arrows Take Flight

1072 - 1075 AE - The search to find her sisters took Eris into the disputed lands of the Kurzick and Luxon factions in the southern regions of the Canthan continent. Prior to Eris' arrival in Cantha, Aria and Ayez had been assigned to not only request aid from the Kurzick and Luxon leadership to help fight the Plague, but also to negotiate a truce of peace between the factions. Their mission ended in disaster and both of the sisters were taken capture by a separate faction. Eris learned of the sisters' mission and accompanied Master Togo, Brother Mhenlo and several other Canthan delegates in an attempt to acquire the sacred and legendary artifacts that were previously used to defeat Shiro centuries ago. The Spear of Archemorus and The Urn of Saint Viktor.

Reunited with Aria and Ayez, Eris and her sisters joined in the fight to defeat Shiro and his Constructs in the Imperial City, but Shiro plague of terror did not stop there. In order for Shiro to regain his mortality, he had to take the life of a blood descendant to the Imperial family line. His last and final target was Master Togo's half-brother. Emperor Kisu. The final battle against Shiro spilled the blood of many, but he was finally defeated, his plague ended, and the Emperor was saved. As a gift for saving his life, Emperor Kisu offered the Sisters of Evenfeather an animal companion from his collection. Aria and Ayez declined, but as Eris walked through the menagarie, one of the Emperor's rare Imperial Phoenixes approached her. His name was Arrow Wing, and together Eris and her animal companion founded The Celestial Arrows of The Phoenix.

The primary mission of The Celestial Arrows was to preserve and protect all wildlife throughout the lands of Tyria, especially the rare and endangered breeds like the Phoenix. Eris on the other hand, took the mission a step further by teaching masters and their animal companions how to depend on each other in battle. Eris continues these valuable lessons to those who wish to learn them even today.

The Celestial Arrows established their first training grounds in a wooden area of The Echovald Forest and thus chose to ally themselves with the Kurzick faction. While peace in the Imperial City began to settle and the Kurzick/Luxon conflict continued, word had reached the ears of the Evenfeather sisters, that a political storm was brewing in Elona. Months prior to The Searing, Eura, their mother, had been recalled by the Archealogical Order of Istan to assist with a new dig site in Elona. Yaru, their 4th sister and an apprencting dervish, tagged along with her. Knowing this, the three sisters set sail to Istan with hopes of finding their mother and sister.
