	Greetings Guest Welcome This is A Place Where We As A Guild Can Learn, share, and realize the sense of guild, community, and family. We are a Social, Family Guild that enjoys the company of our friends and families, and prefer to group and die with them. We currently Raid every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our current raid content includes Blackburrow(normal and hard), Queen Malarian(normal and hard), Bloody Kithicor, Warrens and Rathe raid, Korafax instance, and any other SOD content. For our raid crew, we are actively seeking raiding Clerics and Enchanters; although we could find a spot for a few other highly skilled raiders who are well geared... 	News: Archives \| RSS \| Tower flagging! Vefunden, Jan 31, 10 6:26 PM. Hail all, this is your leezard. So, I admit, I was wrong. Yes, you heard it, I admit it, WRONG. I said we would be flagging for tower by the end of 2009. It was the first week of 2010 when we finally got our win over Pallorax... bad monkey! Seriously though, folks, I am very proud of our guild's accomplishments lately... repeated kills of Pallorax in Korafax, netting us more and more tower keys... as well as all of those raid essences, weapons, and other items we keep getting, night after night, week after week. Below you'll see some of those who benefit from these repeated wins. As of today, we've begun work on the other events in Korafax. On only our second attempt on the Venom Lord event, we got him to 40%... I am confident that I will be posting a picture of his corpse before long. Although our raid crew is currently pretty full, we do have room for a cleric or two, and a couple of enchanters. Send a tell to Llizardman if you are interested in being a part. Hail all, this is your lazy leezard, I have been spending so much time giving out the tons of loot we've earned recently, that I have been neglecting our guild website... am bad, I know. Well, we have been spending a lot of time beating Rottrued the Twisted on normal and hard every single time the timer is up... if it was not for the quality of loot, I think our raid crew would be getting really bored by now, lol. However, there are still many who need things from him, so we will continue to go back until either the stuff starts rotting, or Sony changes his name to Rottrued, Property of DOTRF. Below is a foggy picture of him awaiting one of the two weekly rear-end-poundings he gets from us: We have also been spending a lot of time in a very dirty place called the Temple of Bertoxxulous. In one of our many acts of generosity, we have been working with a pretty young lass known as Queen Malarian. She seems to have a hard time keeping her home clean, so we have been giving her some tips on housekeeping. The poor woman has maggots all over the place, and sometimes, even flies. Every time we stop by to say hello, she has yet another mess that we have to clean up. I tell you, if she didnt keep paying us well with a chest full of goodies, we'd not be by, but our raid crew doesnt seem to mind the cleaning, as long as they get paid! Below is a sample of her pretty face: Recently, we have also been hanging out with a kind of nasty sort of duo... they are brothers, and brothers we have met previously as well. Although it has been since the fabled season since we saw them last, they are still up to their old tricks. Perhaps you've heard of them? They are now hanging out in a place they do not belong... it's off of the Korascian Warrens... maybe a picture or two will help? Well, whether you remember them or not, we certainly do... and our adventures with them, I predict, will continue on for some time, as they can be very profitable. :) Ok all, I think that will about wrap it up for this latest addition of That's My Loot. Well Well Well... if it isnt old Rottrued the Twisted ... wait.. where'd you go? hears a squish ... eeew... looks to his scaled foot looks to the raid FOUND HIM! Yes, you got it... we've successfully downed the Old Blackburrow instance, and are putting that name on our Farm Status list. Now, I realize that most guilds out there have not been able to see such content as I am talking about, so here's a little example of what I am talking about when I mention what we've received from the SOD expansion in ONE night alone: Every Beastlord, Magician, and Necromancer in our raids have: Minor Dyadic Quartz Every Cleric in our raids have: Spell: Twelfth Night Rk. 3 Every Magician and Beastlord in our raids have: Spell: Promised Rejuvenation Rk. 3 Every Necromancer in our raids have: Spell: Bonestitch Effigy Rk. 3 Every Druid in our raids have: Spell: Winter's Flare Rk. 3 Every Enchanter in our raids have: Spell: Runic Shimmer Aura Rk. 3 Every Shaman in our raids have: Spell: Grezan's Drowse Rk. 3 On top of that (and probably more I havent figured out yet)... in that SAME NIGHT we got two more rk3 spells (one for a cleric, one for a warrior) We also got: Rottrued's Ear (which is 60ac, 700hp, 715m/e, with SS7 mod) We also got: Wrext Mal Mesmerist's Focus (which is a silk 1hb with 750 mana) We also got: Wrext Mal Cape (which is a 70ac, 720/725/725 all/all back item with massive foci) I think that certainly made this one GREAT night for us. We do this every week! Our raid crew is gearing up MASSIVELY, and raking in those rk3 spells. I am so proud of our guild and... of course... the fact that: WE REMAIN THE FASTEST PROGRESSING RAID CREW ON THE SERVER! Happy Hunting, all, we certainly know ours has been! Fabled Planes of Power Vefunden, Apr 22, 09 3:51 PM. Hail all, this is your Llizardman speaking, I am at work right now, so there will be some blank spaces on this update where I will add pictures later. I just wanted to take a moment to congratulate our Raid Crew on the many upgrades received from this year's fabled season. Last year, we did 111 drops in the month on raid nights alone. It was then that the next year (this one) we would double that. Although some did not think that it was possible... we indeed beat the 222 mark on official raids, getting 264 drops during the season on official raids in our guild. Unless I am horribly mistaken, every member of our raid crew got upgrades during this time... some of our lesser-geared members received quite a few drops. Although it was kind of expected that a few would join or show up simply to get drops and then take those drops to another guild, most of the drops did remain right here at home in DOTRF on the raid crew, and I am truly proud of that. Thank you all for your hard work this season! I am very proud of our guild, our dedicated Raid Crew, and I look forward to posting new kills in our upcoming farm zones soon! We will be moving on from SOF soon due to the fact that our drops in SOF right now are starting to have few bidders and more rots and alt rewards... when the Power Infused Steam Cleaver from Steam Factory goes to rot status... before fabled season... you know you're about ready to move on! Hail all, this is your leezard speaking, Allow me to direct your attention to the two pictures below. The first of which, is one of the Mining Behemoth event after a very quick and easy win on Saturday.... he was our first target, and this is the result of a first-attempt of the night. Congratulations raiders on our new farm target! After we utterly destroyed MB in such a short time, we decided to go back and have a look at our old friend: Chief Mechanic Clankwrench. For anybody who has done this event before, you know that this is a VERY difficult fight. It takes a long time, and is very demanding not only on the tanks, but the healers that keep them alive. This fight took us about 20 minutes from start to finish. We ALMOST wiped at 1% like I said JOKINGLY we would... but we finally got our first win over a very difficult target. Congratulations again go out to the DOTRF raid crew for downing yet another difficult target to gain a fabulous new set of loot! We are looking forward to this year's coming fabled season. Last year, in 8 nights we got 111 high-quality gear drops from the fabled season. This year, my goal is to do over 200. Another Quick Update Vefunden, Jan 25, 09 11:12 AM. Hail all, this is your Leezard speaking, I just want to take a moment to let you all know how proud I am of our raid crew. This was our first full week in Frostcrypt 1. In that week we beat West FC1 on Friday, and East FC1 on Saturday, giving us full access to Frostcrypt 2. The smug Lorekeeper Grenwald stood tall before us... surrounded by a horde of zombies, powerful alchemists, and even two gladiators of his own. However, this was no match for our powerful casters, our gladiators, and our healers. I have a picture of him before the battle, but we beat him so hard, he was thrown into next week... where we will kill him again when it arrives! Hail all, this is your Leezard speaking, I just wanted to make a quick update, and comment about how EASY it was to get our first real loot in Frostcrypt 1. We set out tonight to kill Hearol the Tactician, and on the FIRST ATTEMPT, we killed him and all of his crypt guards. Try and put a wall up before us? We will tear it down! Hail all, this is your Leezard speaking, The Disciples of the Rising Fire Raid Crew has been hard at work, every weekend, getting our people new loot from Bloodmoon Keep, as well as having a great time up in The Steam Factory. However, we decided to do something a little different this last weekend. In realizing that there are a lot of nice new weapons, and nice new armor pieces that have been dropping from our raid targets in the SOF expansion; we also realized that we had no special augs that would fill the empty aug slots. It was this thought that brought us back to the TSS expansion, to the ice side, and into the heart of Valdeholm. This last Friday, we battled in that zone for TEN HOURS to get our win. I was the first person in, and the last person out. I got the King Odeen mission a little after 2pm. The mission ended at midnight. We deserved this big win. We worked very hard to get it, and as a result: Amandat got a new earring: Earring of the Ageless! Sisza got a new aug: Loreward! Helrazerx got a new belt: Girdle of Stone Strength! Reix got a new shield: Highkeeper's Haven! Cozykitty got new pants: Sleetstorm Leggings! And the ENTIRE GUILD got a flag so we can raid Frostcrypt 1 and Frostcrypt 2 as much as we desire! So, on Saturday night, we did just that! We took our raid crew right into FC1 to check out the aug events, and check the difficulty of the zone that we heard was SO difficult... I am guessing that others have more difficulty with 4k-8k hitters than we do, because we WALKED through that zone like it was a walk in the park. We got a lot of new augments, a lot of rk3 spells and tomes, and learned a lot of new strategies for these events... but the crowning moment for the night in MY OPINION was this: We know that we will have MANY more augments to go in our new raid weapons... and MANY more armor drops to celebrate as well. Disciples of the Rising Fire Raid Crew took a trip to Bloodmoon Keep this Saturday... WITHOUT Llizardman, who did not show up due to RL obligations. It was our first time EVER stepping foot on the ground known as Bloodmoon. As we looked up, we saw a "Fanged Moon"... and we knew this is only the first step on our journey through the area. After walking down a short path, we came to the lair of an orc who identified himself briefly as Vesthun Wolfpaw. He thought that his many years of orcish training and his army of worgs would stand tall against us. He thought wrong. (no picture of his corpse this time) As we continued past the pile of worg and orc corpses to reach a strange little pair: Galrin Boneshard and Wilnok Boneshard. They also thought that they were pretty special, and could walk over the might of our raid crew. They thought wrong. (no picture of their corpses either this time) I have said it before, and I will continue to say it from now until the end of time because it is the truth: DISCIPLES OF THE RISING FIRE'S RAID CREW IS THE FASTEST PROGRESSING RAID FORCE IN EQ. Happy Hunting All, we know ours has been! Small Update Vefunden, Nov 15, 08 5:28 PM. Just a quick update... It was proven last night. The Vergalid kill was NOT a fluke, nor was it a random stroke of luck. Last night, we got the Vergalid's End mission, killed Nurtha, killed Goru, AND engaged and killed Vergalid himself in THREE HOURS TOTAL. The last time we killed Vergalid, it took us three days. Last night, it took us three hours. If you don't think that we are the fastest progressing raid crew, I think you need to have your head examined. ONE MORE THING: Disciples of the Rising Fire raid crew is re-filling up the raid crew fast. We have a few spots left, but the classes are closing quickly.
