The Knight of the Silver Rose stated back in 1979 with a table top  role playing game  and I  have  brought it  to the City of heroes. It began as the Cathelian Bloodguard who were the  royal family bodyguard mainly the  queens own  comprising  originally of 100 female ex-slaves. At the moment with are currently along with sister groups on every server.  Right now  Guardian and champion have a fully functionly base. The others are a work in progress
