Three years ago, I began to notice that the citizens in Paragon City were beginning to suffer not only from the many and varied villian groups that plagued it's existence, but also from the indifference that was and is growing among it's hero population.

    Many heroes it seems hold forth the banner of heroism only for the accolades it can promise them.  Be it recognition from our own city government, coverage by the press and federal government, or acknowledgement from international groups or other hero organizations, many heroes want only to be recognized.  Meanwhile, many of the citizens were and are suffering from this indifference and some are hardly better off than they were before.

    Freedom Strike began as a concept at first as I watched this happening in my city.  While researching for a task that needed done, a clerk at the city hall in Atlas Park showed me the paperwork that would be needed to register a new group.  Soon after, the group I envisioned to strike at the heart of villiany with freedom for the oppressed was a concept no longer.  Freedom Strike was born.

    Some claim I am melodramatic.  Maybe.  But I could tolerate the disinterested path our heroes were taking no longer.  Thus, I continue to look for others who would take up the banner that Freedom Strike has raised, and take the battle to the doors of our citizens that they can step safely onto the streets once again.
