The Dragon Code

“The Golden Rule”

Do unto others as you would have done unto you.

Clan Rules

  • No intentional griefing of other players. This includes Metas that interfere with quests and other players game play
  • Have respect for those you fellow with.
  • If someone is griefing you, you have three options.
    • Let is slide - Forget about it.
    • Work it out like adults between the two of you.
    • Get his patron and monarchs name, and bring it to the attention of a council member with screen shots and / or a chat log.
  • Treat your clan mates as brothers and sisters. They are your family!!
  • Buff bots are a privilege, not a right. They are the responsibility of everyone who uses them. Do not create a character around the buffbot. If you use the buffbot, be fair and donate tapers or other comps to keep the bot running.
  • Thieves will not be tolerated in the clan. If someone is caught stealing, they will be immediately removed from the clan.
  • We encourage all members to be self sufficient. Although most of our clan members will gladly help each other out, we will not tolerate beggars.
  • Using Profanity on the allegiance channel is highly discouraged and should be kept to a minimum.
  • When taking vassals, remember, you are responsible for them - do not pawn them off on others in the allegiance.
  • With the allegiance the size it is, a few rules have been implemented:
    • Taking one vassal is allowed(as long as no more then 2 actives come with them), but please introduce them to the high council and the clan.
    • Taking more then one vassal(or group) at a time is not allowed without approval of the high council.
    • If groups are approved, there is a one month waiting period between groups to allow people to get to know one another.
  • No pk smack talk in the allegiance and a minimum outside the allegiance. Remember, this allegiance is about respect. What you do as a player represents the Dragons as a clan. Anyone caught causing trouble with their baiting and smack talk will be asked to leave the clan.
  • UCM/ACM- My belief is to have fun to play the game, that is also my job as a monarch. I pay as well to play so personally i do not, nor do i have my officers ucm check people.  If you choose to ucm, that is your choice, if you get caught  ucm and banned, again that was your choice to break the CoC of Turbine you will be held responsible for your punishment.  I do not want to hear complaining about a ban or disrespect to turbine for getting caught. UCM people choose to break the rules, they can take the punishment as well.   On a side not i do not like to see blatent  UCM talk in allegiance chat. This is how we keep the peace here.  Ultimatly  just be respectful of other people and how they choose to play.

Respecting Others in the Allegiance

  • If you have a problem with someone in the allegiance, please bring it to me or one of the others in the high council. We don’t care how little or how big the complaint is, letting it sit and simmer for weeks to months on end gets people nowhere but angry. So tell us! We are not mind readers, and whatever you say will be kept within the high council. If you have a problem with a member of the high council, please bring it to my attention. If we don’t know about the problem, we can’t fix it!
  • Please keep personal disputes out of the allegiance, drama is no fun for anyone - especially those dragged into it.We don’t want to be butting noses, heads, feet, and body parts into others peoples business if it does not involve them.
  • We all play this game for different reasons; we all play this game different ways. Not everyone is going to agree on everything, please be courteous enough to realize that not everyone is going to agree with you and then bashing them over it.It is not going to get anyone anywhere but out of the allegiance!
  • Profanity, keep it to a minimum. There has been an overuse of swearing in the allegiance chat. Way too much in my opinion! Occasional use is ok, mistakes and an "oops, sorry" is ok, but repeatedly using f word is not ok.
  • Disrespecting another clan mate will not be tolerated. Anyone doing so will immediately find themselves with a gag and or put on a warning and could include bootage from clan.  No one is going to get along all the time, and I don't expect everyone to even like each other all the time, but respecting everyone's personal beliefs in clan is a must.
If we don’t know about the problem, we can’t fix it!(sorry, I can’t say this enough!)

Player Killers and Player Killer Liters

  • No pk smack talk in the allegiance and a minimum outside the allegiance. Remember, this allegiance is about respect. What you do as a player represents the Dragons as a clan. Anyone caught causing trouble with their baiting and smack talk will be asked to leave the clan.
  • Personal PKL/PK battles will be confined to the basement.
  • This allegiance is about trust and respect.  There will be NO jumping of clanmates if they are dualing.
  • PKL is not allowed on quests unless directed by quest leader(exception is perma red characters) you will be asked to relog.
  • You will get 2 warnings on PKL/PK issues, after that you will be removed. We are all adults here and you will be treated as such.
  • Mansion is a safe PKL/PK zone. Do not engage in a battle with a clannie unless you speak to them first and all parties involved are aware they are PKL/PK.
  • PKL Arena/PK Arena are not included in the above rule.  If you cant take the heat DO NOT GO PK/L

First off i say, Welcome to the Dragons. We are a Fairly adult group of players that have a passion for playing AC and have fun doing it.

Frequently asked questions:

What is your guild like?
Well, this is a tough question to answer.  Picture Thanksgiving Dinner.  Disfunctional but yet it all works out somehow.   We have the leaders, the blusterers, the wanton aunts that make goo goo eyes at the single friends you bring for supper, the joksters, the quiet ones, the standoffish ones, and the loud mouth cousins you would like to stuff a bread roll in their mouth to quiet them..... ahh but I digress.. The Dragons are my Pride and Joy for AC.  Not saying we don’t have our fair share of disagreements and arguing but it all works. We can say our peace and move on. A more helpful bunch of people I have yet to see.  Of course occasionally we get our share of greedy and beggars but they are escorted to the boarder or shot on site.  Allegiance chat is normally always hopping and for the most part questing at least once a day with the impromptu quest yelled out.

Do you Quest?

Id say the more important question here is, Are you on good terms with your lifestone?  OF COURSE we quest!  our normal quest times for clan starts at 8pm est and onward.  We do have weekend quests run during the day and people on most times doing something silly during the day.  You could say the allegiance has a questing fetish.

What time zone is most everyone in, and when are the most on?

Because the word revolves around the Queen Dragon, everything is posted in est to avoid confusion. But we have players from all over the world(the internet is a beautiful thing). I would say our most active times are from 3pm est to about midnight east. That would be most active times.  but normally anytime someone logs on there is usually something going on in allegiance chat.

What's expected of me if i join The Dragons?

Whats expected of any adult? You must read and follow the CoC located on the Code of Honor tab.  You must carry yourself  as a representative of the Dragons.  A sense of humor is a must(we are always doing something silly or  joking around).  We do not have kids in the clan so to speak but we do have some young adults and parents sometimes do let their kids play under supervision. Its expected of you to treat any player with respect, even if they are not a dragon or you do not agree with them.  Smack talkers are usually shot on site.

How do i sign up for this insanity?
Ahh the big question.  OK so you have decided you have lost your marbles and actually want to join the Dragons((Sucker).  You can sign up for the website with your MAINS name. You will however not be approved for the inner forums until you find a patron and are actually in the Dragons.  Make a post on the wanting to join the dragons forums singing your praises and that you are interested in joining. Please don't just sign up, make sure to make a post saying you are interested in joining and what type of player you are.  You can also get in game and search for someone in the dragons and normally one will pop out and talk to you and ask you a few questions.  Everyone joins the dragons under a trial to make sure the personalities fit.
