Obsidian Hand, revitalized!

Greetings to all of you!

Since most of us departed to the dimension of Venekor, one of you took up the mantle to make sure Obsidian Hand would not be left to flounder in the dust.

Thanks to the efforts of Bhogh, OH is back and ready to rumble.  I am so proud that we have members like Bhogh and Furrfoot who were determined to keep us alive.

I look forward to haunting here from time to time and lending a hand when I can to the new Obsidian Hand.  See you all in Norrath!

Vendui' my friends,

With much anticipation, we have begun exploration of a new Norrath.  One where the cold war has ended and havoc can break loose at any moment as Freeport and Qeynos battle head to head.  I am pleased to see so many of our members coming over to try it out. I hope to see more familiar faces, if not names, in the days to come.

For those of you who have not yet come over, please be aware that our banner has changed.  We have resurrected the ancient sect that bore us from its ashes and once again are the Shadow Guard.  We are working on forging an alliance with the Legacy of Hate, which is being led by an old ally of the Shadow Guard back from our glory days on the EQ1 Zek servers.

We will be creating a site for the new guild soon and have already recruited many eager adventurers to aid our fight.  Come over to the darker side of evil!

PvP just around the corner!

Vendui' my Obsidian friends,

Yes, the awaited day for many of us is rapidly approaching. I suggest you start brainstorming all your ideas and visiting the PvP Ponderings forum as we gear up for a new, exciting chapter in our guild's history.

I know that some of you are not at all interested in trying out the PvP universe, and that is absolutely fine!! We never want our members to do something they feel uncomfortable with. I know I will still be around to help lead the guild, though my presence on LDL may be slim the next few weeks as we try out the new system. If you are even the tiniest bit curious about it, I suggest taking a chance and trying it out. Sometimes you never know until you try.

Writ-Madness!!

Vendui' Obsidian Hand,

This coming Friday, we will be putting time aside to go "writ crazy." From 2pm PST on, several of us will be working on writs from the Sinking Sands. I believe that to take them, you must be of the 51st adventuring tier. Any who are eligible are welcome to aid us in boosting the guild's level. Our reasoning behind this event is to try to get us to level 30 by the 21st.

Even if you are too low to help with those writs, you are more than welcome to take the opportunity to do your own. The more we can get done, the faster we will progress and the closer we will get to our goal.

Vendui', Obsidian Hand!
On Saturday the 7th, we welcomed three new officers into the Obsidian Council. Master Alexonder - Master of the Hunt, Master Kendrick - Master of War and Mistress Sjala - Mistress of Thought (formally Knowledge).  Please be sure to congratulate them and afford them the respect their station deserves.  Also, be sure to check out our forums within.  We have a new one dedicated to the discussion of the new PvP servers opening soon and what fate OH may or may not have with them.

Guild Level
