Moving the State Bar

GuildPortal admin site link to original post

Basically, the script moves the State Bar (top most bar) contents into the free form text/HTML box you add this code. If you want this done on every page, you'll have to add it on every page - sorry.  Also, there is nothing to customize.

The Code
<div id="loginbox" style="text-align:center;"></div>
<script type="text/javascript">
 $('div[id*="pnlTopBar"]').appendTo('#loginbox').html();
 $('#loginbox').html(function(i,h){
  return h.replace(/\u2022/g,'<br>').replace(/Password/,'<br>Password');
 });
</script>
Customizing

If you want to remove specific links, add this line to the end (above the script tag)
$('#loginbox').find('a:contains(Chat)').next().andSelf().hide();
To remove more links, just duplicate the entire line, add it to the end, then change the word in red to exactly match the link name "Chat", "Mail", "Blog" or whatever.

Edit (1/6/2011): Updated and condensed.
Edit (3/10/2011): Updated, bullet is now in unicode.
Edit (3/11/2011): Added code to allow removing unwanted links.

It's a very nice add on, just what I was looking for as I previously had it the same way on my php-fuion site.

But I have some kind of alignment problem. The sections is not showen beneath each other, but after each other.

See piccy below

How can I get it to show it below each other?

My site is here: http://danishnonames.guildportal.com/

Hi Aranoxx!

I think the problem is that the editor changes the bullet character ("" in red below) into "&bull;". Try putting the editor into Raw mode when you paste, then save the code.
return h.replace(//g,'<br>').replace(/Password/,'<br>Password');

Perfect, that did the trick

Thanks for the support.
