We live!

... but the guild webpage, not so much. Yours truly has let it suffer as we moved into Wrath, setting aside news updates in favor of questing, leveling, running instances, heroics, raids, and generally experiencing what this new expansion of ours has to offer.

Now that we are settled and raiding again on a regular basis, I figure it is time to brush off the cobwebs.

Old Farts and Upstarts continues to be a small guild but a strong one. We have formed a raiding alliance with Existence for 25 man content and continue to run ten man content on our own.

Most of our members are now at 80 and in varying stages of gear. Hopefully by the time 3.1 hits we'll all be ready for some new bosses, challenges, and yes... maybe even some wipes.

Last night OF&U went to ZA for the first time as a guild and emerged triumphant. We went first to Nalorakk, the bear boss. He fell down without much issue - it went so well, in fact, that we nearly made the timer on our first attempt. He was down to 3% when the timer ran out!

Congratulations to Mercanther on receiving the Robes of Heavenly Purpose, our first drop from ZA. Even if you do look quite silly in them!



After the bear we decided to push on to the Eagle boss, Akil'Zon, who obligingly fell down and gave us his Talonblade for one of our resident rogues, Scoundrel.



At that point it was getting late and we decided not to push on, but congratulations to all that were there on an exemplary first run. Many thanks to Mercander for respeccing for the occasion, and to Fishstix from our friends in The Triumvirate for stepping in and tanking.
