i have been coming back to the game slowly.
as i informed Kira. a while back i was gonna be away for a week
because i was having renovations done.(didnt say what for)
well i was doing half of them.
Well as things turned out it wasn't as easy a thing.
First why i had to renovate.
During a good storm a rather large branch broke and
fell on the roof ripping some outside trim and such off.
well what we didnt realise was it left several decent
sized holes in the roof and such. well next rain we found out quick.
so as you can imagine birds went crazy over thier new hidey places
and decided HEY! we're movin in.
they made homes in the holes and the area's where the outside stuff got ripped up.
So we got the roof patched. the roofers said there was alot of bird
crap up there ect. and it's a mold risk with all that moisture.
so we set about removing the now ruined ceiling and the entire
area of insulation.
Being a OLD house it didnt have traditional attic access..
so you Tack the insulation to the top of the ceiling pannels.
well the problem came when we found to our suprise someone in the
past was incredibly lazy and cheap,
and decided nahh we'll use that blow in insulation.
Well that dumbazz *imo* decided lets use Fiberglass fluff!
Well when that ceiling pannel came down in chunks around
me (pretty much all at once)
i had goggles on expecting tacked or at worst fiber particle
insulation i got lungs full of bacterial laden fiberglass in my lungs.
so i spent nearly a month in and out of emergency care.
2 weeks in critical care. and i was/am on and off of O2.
as needed. i had 4 tubes in my lungs ..
2 for draining. 2 for that blasted o2 with steroids.
they considered a ventilator. but decided against
it because it wasn't my ability to Pull air in..
it was the fact i couldnt actually use the air i was getting.
i spent nearly 3 weeks at 81% saturation the first week at 68%.
a little while ago i snuck in some game time. but i think kira can vouch.
i didn't sound good. i have my wife play my account. as it's pretty much hers atm.
i will be back. but. it's gonna be a while.
i am usually at the lung rehabilitation clinic. who knew these things existed.
(man am i glad they do)
so i get to sit next to people who had a lung removed or part.
due to cancer and the like and have to relearn how to breathe ect.
now when i do have o2 i do feel well. and like a bull stuck in a cage.
but i swear withing 5 mins of that o2 being taken away.
i am about a limp as a noodle with no strength and i feel weak.
so in nut shell. lucky to be alive. and glad i am.
