The Adders Fanged are a RP/PVP guild serving as home to unsavory, outcast, outlaws and ethically flexible characters.

In character, we're beyond the laws of both Horde and Alliance, allowing us to be free from the bonds of the same societies which discarded us. Out of character, we're a group of roleplayers -ranging from beginners to experienced- who enjoy playing our characters away from the common stereotypes of good and evil.

The Adders Fanged Manifesto

We exist because our government, our institutions and our leaders have failed us. The promises of peace and security now echo like the end of a black joke in the vast halls of our minds and souls. The ideas of duty and honor held by their hands as the cheapest currency, until the final realization comes back to haunt them; it is only when you deprive people of everything, that they are free to do anything.

Our political arm has been called “The Third Option”, for it exists beyond Horde and Alliance alike. Subject and slave to neither. Our martial hands are the Adders Fanged and the Fanged Adders, the executors of our will. In this we mirror the risible duplicity of the Horde and the Alliance, and spit it back. We are the mirror on which they look, and see themselves as what they wish to be, and could be if they only tried.

We assert, thus:

- That the actions of both Alliance and Horde have made the world less safe. By consuming themselves, and wasting the irreplaceable product of their societies in pointless and irrelevant perennial conflict, while the enemies of the whole world amass in comfort.

- That both power structures now only exist to perpetuate themselves in power, paying only lip service to the concerns and wellbeing of their citizens. That they forbid and repress free speech on the key issues that put their permanence of command in jeopardy. That both create and artificially maintain a climate of fear and distrust in order to keep their population blind, destitute and in check.

- That both Alliance and Horde are guilty of high crimes against all sentient creatures of this world, as evidenced by their direct support or indirect tolerance of terrorist organizations as long as they further their cause.

- That all private citizen organizations, whether military, commercial or religious, who derive their mandates directly by command, instruction or charter from Alliance or Horde, are therefore guilty by association to the same degree as their masters and commanders.

Specifically, we the Third Option denounce:

- The mistreatment of Orc prisoners in the old Internment camps of Lordaeron. Camps of which many still exist today.

- The conscious and deliberate sabotage and “exhaustion” of diplomatic efforts by the Horde in attempting to find a peaceful and common resolution to the Warsong Gulch conflict and the issue of lumber resources in dispute.

- The support by many sectors of Alliance society and ruling class of the terrorist organization known as the Scarlet Crusade of Lordaeron.

- The support by many sectors of Horde society and ruling class of the terrorist element known as the Royal Apothecary Society of the Undercity.

- The possession by both Horde and Alliance of political prisoners, whom are given no recourse to the law or possibility to defend themselves. Some of which acquired during clandestine operations and thus unrecognized and unaccounted for.

- The Alliance support of Dwarf survey teams, infringing on the sovereign and natural right of our Tauren brothers and their claims to their ancestral homeland.

- The Horde support of the paramilitary organization known as the “Defilers” in the Arathi Basin, infringing on the sovereign and natural right of our Human brothers and their lawful territorial claims.

- The countless deaths of civilians and non-military personnel in the ongoing conflict of Alterac Valley, at the hands of both sides’ military and paramilitary elements.

- The laughable and completely inadequate efforts to study the full extent of environmental damage caused by the crash of the vessel “Exodar”, as well as the utter lack of attempts to bring those Draenei responsible for the accident to stand trial in a court of law.

Therefore, we the Third Option demand:

- The immediate liberation of all political prisoners currently held by Alliance and Horde. The release and publication of complete and thorough listings of all prisoners, their locations and current status.

- The cessation of support, however implicit, by Horde and Alliance to terrorist organizations within their midst.

- The institution of a program of joint reparations and material compensation to the families of all the fallen in all battleground conflicts to this day.

- Taxation on the institutions part of the Azeroth banking system, which have hitherto been allowed to remain exempt and reaping all the benefits of society while contributing nothing back to it. A revision of the tax and commission schemes by all Goblin-operated Auction House facilities functioning in Alliance and Horde territory, in order to end usurious and ill-gotten profits to be made at the expense of the consumer.

- A ban on all magical, demonic and scientific experimentation on all sentient and animal beings.

- The partition and transfer of an appropriately-sized territory to the direct control of the Third Option, the Adders Fanged and the Fanged Adders; complete with political autonomy, autarchy and free from interference of any kind by Horde or Alliance elements.

- The arrest and trial of all members of the Horde and Alliance oligarchies, known to have participated or been complicit with the crimes and transgressions detailed above.

- The deposition and surrender of executive power by Alliance and Horde leaders, as well as an immediate call for free and transparent elections, in which all able citizens of their respective territories be allowed to choose and elect their own representatives and leaders.

Failure to comply with any or all of these demands gives the Third Option the inalienable right to make these demands be executed by force of arms, if necessary.

We are the Third Option, the Adders Fanged and the Fanged Adders. We have signed to these causes with our very lives. We are dismissed and underestimated at the peril of the whole world, for our cause is just and fair, and grows daily.

Second communication from the Adders

“Tick, tock, tick, tock… time’s up!

Time for the needle to mark midnight for two choice folk, and time for the Adders to ring the bell and come out to get some air. It’s recess time in Azeroth, will you come play with us?

For years, both Horde and Alliance have spilled each other’s blood, countless times, trying to win a patch of ground which has no profit in it but its name. All that sorrow, all those lives, for nothing. But now it’s different. Now they’ll see they are not the only ones allowed to dispense the pleasures of pain and death.

This one is for all the forgotten fallen in this, their stupid backwoods little war. This one is for all the unknown soldiers. This is war, sublime war, in a scale so vast and tenuous they won’t even understand it, and they’ll scratch their little green and pink heads at the same time. This one is a symbol, and a taste of the bitter venom soon to come.

The world is sick, but like a much too proud patient, it refuses treatment. Headstrong as it is, it insists that the very behavior that brought the disease will bring the cure. Now it’s time for venom, and its mercy. Time to put the world out of its misery. They had their time, they had their chance, and they squandered it.

Now it’s ours. Now it’s the time for those beyond Horde and Alliance to say no. Now it’s the time to show them they do not control us, they do not leave us behind, and they sure as hell don’t get out of this one without a black eye and an Adder’s bite.

If you want in this opportunity to start turning the tables around, then good news; we want you in too. Aye, you. You know who you are. Horde or Alliance, green skin, pink skin, no skin or fur. We don’t care. The Adders are beyond all that. But time is tickin’… tick, tock, tick, tock and all that. Gotta be fast, and catch the chance before it flies away.

So, a week from now, Thursday, October the 2nd. We’ll talk about what we’ll do, and how we’ll do it. If you want in, be there. Horde folk will meet in the Sepulcher in Tirisfal. Alliance folk, just outside the walls of Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands. Both at the 9th. bell of Azeroth.

Make your decision, but make it fast. Be there, because we will be there. And after we are there, and we go there, they won’t be there anymore.

Tick. Tock.”

First Communication from the Adders

Only those already in the life of crime, those who feel an affinity for breaking the law, or those used to dealing with criminals would truly notice it and read it. To everyone else it’s just a pamphlet, one out of the million other pamphlets out there*

“Looking for a few good men! Ha, ha… that always cracks me up. A few good men? NO! Looking for a few BAD men! A lot of them! Tons!

If yer looking at this already, you know who you are. And if you know who you are, you know why you wanna take yer chances and grab those opportunities that come along every once in a blue fraggin’ moon. You know. Those. The one in a million kind. Well, this might be it. You think you got the brass ones to take it? We’ll see.

Ya see, things are building up. Brewing. Hatching. Away from everyone’s eyes. Away from the machinations of the so-called decent folk. It’s there, and they could see it if they wanted to look, but the honest truth is that they don’t WANT to look. It makes’em sick. Oh, but it’s starting to boil, isn’t it? You can feel it too. Every time you go out into those streets you been out a million times before, trying to make a living. It’s there. You don’t talk about it, and they sure as heck don’t talk about it, but it’s there. Streets everywhere are like a pressure cooker, picking up steam, getting ready to boil and blow.

And when it –does- boil and blow, do you wanna be steam? Or do you wanna be the cook that gets a faceful of hot water?

No, you wanna be steam. And we… we are the release. We’re the tricky fingers that open that valve when it’s not supposed to be open. We’re the dagger on the back that was not supposed to be stabbed. We’re the blade slashing across the eyes. We’re the ones that kick while they’re down. We’re the punch in the crotch of this so-called upstanding world, and the prison they call their laws and rules. And we’ll be the ones laughing, all the fraggin’ time, at how pathetic they look at trying to pick up the pieces of all we will smash.

They’ll call us… what… criminals? Anarchists, malcontents, murderers? Pickpockets? Delinquents? Those are just words they will use ‘cause they can’t grasp how complex, and how simple we are at the same time. We’re the ones that say NO. Horde and Alliance? What a terrible joke! We’ve been used by both, so we’ll hit at both equally. The only borders are in our minds, and our minds are free and far reaching. Everything is fair game, because the game is unfair. We’ll make it fair, but under our terms. Under our rules. Under our will. We say NO to them and this claptrap, this sorry excuse of a society they attempted to build. We make our own way, and we’re no longer going to take being at the back of the queue of this so-called modern world. We’ll be pushing and cutting in. Why? Because we want to, because we can, and because enough is enough.

What do we have to offer you? It’s simple: Whatever you want to take. Try negotiating –that- kind of deal from the silly puppies in Orgrimmar and Stormwind.

How do you join up? You don’t look us up. When you’re ready, we’ll be able to tell, and we’ll look you up, bring you in. As a brother or sister in freedom and joy. No longer a puppet, no longer a toy soldier in their stupid little wars, no longer repressed, no longer put down, no longer told to get back in line.

We offer you the freedom which has been taken away from you by –them-. And who are –they-? That’s yer own damn problem. No questions asked.

Are you bad enough to take it? Do you have what it takes to cast off yer chains?

The snakes are out of the cage now. They can’t hold us in anymore, no matter what they try. So the Age of Poison begins. And we are the fangs that come back to bite the very societies that discarded us. And bite them hard.
