Question : What kind of guild is this ?

Answer : We are a casual (in terms of time committment) yet hardcore (in terms of rp) guild. Even guild chat is in character unless denoted by (()). We assume the use of "seer stones" which allow communication over great distances. Members of this guild find as much enjoyment from rp'ing as they do from killing. Be assured that we intend to be heavily involved in RvR. We are a guild formed forthe defence of Ulthuan, not a guild of poets and artists picking flowers while crying dear me. For some rp means speaking solely in shakespearean english or Sindarin. We emphasize acting true to your characters personae and keeping the latest sports scores isolated to ooc chat. No one is perfect and we maynot be in character 100% of the time but it is always our goal.

Regardless of roleplaying or devastating the forces of destruction we do not tolerate poor conduct. We are an honorable guild devoted to having fun and allowing or better yet helping others enjoy themselves as well. This is a game, there is too much drama in real life to bring it here.

Question : Who is Vaul ?

Answer : Vaul is the elven deity of crafting, specifically smithing and weapon/armour crafting. He is known for having rescued Isha and Kurnous from Khaine. He did this by ransoming their release by fashioning 100 great magical blades for Khaine. Unfortunately when the time to pay came up he was one blade short. Khaine assaulted him and even though he made one last blade, more powerful than any other he could not stand against the god of murder and war. Blinded and maimed he was chained to his anvil after his loss.

Question : What is his Anvil ?

Answer : Vaul's Anvil is a large volcano at the tip of Ulthuan, the island home of the High Elves. It is here that the greatest magical armours and weapons of the Elves have been fashioned. Aenerion himself, alongside Caledor the first dragon rider came there to forge the Great Weapons to use against the earliest Chaos invasions. Vaul's Anvil lies in the province of Caledor, home of the dragon riders.

Question : How does this fit in with the online game in the Age of Reckoning ?

Answer : Rakarth the beastmaster has been put in charge of Caledor to either kill the dragons or bend them to his dark will. Hellebron, the leader of the Witch Elves has captured Vaul's Anvil and seeks to use its power to balance out that of Morathi. The High Elves need to come to the aid of their ancient allies for only with their help will there be any hope of saving Ulthuan. Vaul's Anvil must be recaptured before the Dark Elves canlay claim to itspower and create new weapons of twisted dark power unmatched since the dawn of time.
