Welcome to The Lodge!
The Lodge itself is a place of refuge, not only for its members, but also for the Men of the North. The Lodge is a place where these Men can find aid and rest, as well as pass messages and muster for action. It is located south of Midgewater, between the Lone-lands and Bree, as a perfect spot between Weathertop and Bree-town; close to both, but isolated from both, a short ride against trouble on either sides.
The members of the Lodge protect the wilderness of Arnor. They are not mere road-watchers. The Lodge protects the vales and mountains. Chetwood, Nen Harn, the Weather Hills, the Shire, Annundir, the Brandy Woods: these places hear the footsteps of the Lodge's members, and these places are our home. Fornost, Kingsfell, the Barrows, Andrath, Minas Eriol: these are our battlefields, where we oppose the forces of the Enemy.
Our home, the wilds which once formed Arthedain, stretch from Annuminas in the west, to Othrikar in the north, and east to the Ettinmoors, south to Weathertop. However, Cardolan and Rhudaur are equally part of old Arnor, and worthy of our protection. The Barrows, Lone-lands, and Trollshaws see the swift and silent passage of the Lodge, as we watch over the forgotten glades and dales of Eriador. Our allies are few. The Heirs of the West hail from the Blue Mountains, beyond our lands. They hold our western border. Perhaps soon there will be more. While we offer aid and comfort to those of the North, our members are varied. We have Hobbits and Dwarves, Elves and Men. We use bow, spear, sword and axe, as well as mystical stones, staffs and lutes. All strive to fight against the corruption from the east. Will you join us in this fight?
