World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Announced!

Lord_Mavik, Aug 21, 09 8:38 PM.
As some of you might know, I am currently watching Blizzcon 2009 on DirecTV Live! Early this afternoon, Cataclysm, the next World of Warcraft Expansion was announced for release sometime next year!

Some of the highlights include:

Increased Level cap to 85!
New Secondary tradeskill: Archeology
New Horde Race: Goblins
New Alliance Race: Worgen
New Guild Leveling System
Heroic versions of Vanilla Instance. (You wanted H Deadmines? You got it.)

I can't even begin to express what I saw when they played the trailer for WoW:Cata. This xpac will literally change the world of warcraft. Don't get used to the way things look now. Because, some time next year, everything you've ever known will change...

Well, that's all for now. I will update more on the happenings at Blizzcon as they get released!

The Grand Opening!

Lord_Mavik, Aug 16, 09 6:31 AM.
As, I'm sure, most of you could tell, the site has been going through a LOT of changes over the last few weeks. I wish I could take all of the glory for this, but that's just not my style. In fact, a good portion of this site was created due to a joint effort of myself and the wonderful Meranwe! (*points to the Image for the Guild Banner)

While I would like to say that it was easy and anyone could do it, I can't. The two of us have put a LOT of our personal time and effort into this site and I wanted to be the first to say thank you to all of you for giving us something to do that doesn't involve watching vids on TankSpot or the mindless trek of doing dailies...

I would also like to take this time to send out a special thank you to the nameless donor who payed for this site to have all but one of the limitations lifted! If it wasn't for this person, the cool Java recruitment and Progression bars would have not been possible and the site would be riddled with ads and Forum limitations.

Bound for Hell is a collaborative effort and this site is a testament of that exact thing.

enjoy your custom made home away from Azeroth, guildies! you all deserve it!

The Broodmother Returns!

Lord_Mavik, Aug 13, 09 4:37 PM.

She has lurked in her lair and done battle with the many brave adventurers who travelled to that familiar location over the years. Now, in honor of the World of Warcraft 5-year anniversary, the dreaded brood mother Onyxia is being revamped to make a return to the forefront of Azeroth, as part of our big plans for the upcoming 3.2.2 content patch.

This permanent update to Onyxia will convert the dungeon into a normal 10-player mode and a Heroic 25-player model. We will be adding new items to Onyxia’s loot table that have the same model as some of the classic loot from this dungeon, like Tier 2 helms, with stats updated to match the current level of content. There will be a special new item too: a normal drake-sized 310% speed flying mount modeled after Onyxia herself called an Onyxia Broodling. We will also be updating the encounter mechanics to be more fitting for modern raiding, but we can guarantee players will get to experience the frightening horror of deep breaths once again.

Then for a limited time, after the 5-year anniversary event officially begins in November, anybody who logs in will receive an Onyxia Brood Whelpling pet.

We’re very excited to bring this classic encounter back to provide a fun new experience for both new and veteran players. Further details will be available in the near future, and we will be setting up the Public Test Realms soon to help test out this fight along with all the new content we have planned for the patch. Keep an eye on the forums for updates!

Get ready, The daughter of Deathwing and Princess of the Black Dragonflight is coming back! MOAR DOTZ, MOAR DOTZ, MOAR DOTZ!

Patch 3.2 Live!

Lord_Mavik, Aug 4, 09 2:21 PM.
Since the opening of the Argent Tournament in northeastern Icecrown, adventurers have journeyed from across Azeroth and beyond to prove their worth in the heart of the Lich King's domain. Under thundering skies the tournament's participants hone the arts of war and face off in bone-shattering jousting matches to earn the right to be called champions. Yet these heroes have yet to face the greatest challenge of all: the Crusaders' Coliseum.

Formidable Horde and Alliance champions, ferocious beasts, and Scourge lieutenants are just some of the opponents awaiting adventurers in this gladiatorial arena. Few will survive the coliseum's perils, but the Argent Crusade is confident that the worthy heroes who do emerge victorious will be ready to join the offensive against Icecrown Citadel and end the Lich King's reign of terror.
