Welcome
Greetings-

Many have known my character, Thet Darkhand, a self-professed Harbormaster. It's true, and some have ridiculed his incessant rants as he has offered guidance and favors to those new to Stormreach's Harbor.

Well, as Cannith is the last bastion of new blood to DDO, we (that is, veterans with the aptitude to teach the new players of DDO) have come under the guild title The Last Harbormasters. Entry is simple -- be a very experienced, friendly & helpful player from any other server with extensive quest knowledge and the ability to save a party of 5 helpless from any elite in the Harbor in most level-appropriate situations.

Our goal is to help the new players of DDO get a firm foundation of the initial quests and their objectives in DDO. Instead of bumbling through every quest in a clueless group of 6, we try to take groups of 4-5 clueless with 1 or 2 harbormasters and press the group to its limits. Sometimes this may be normal or hard, other times the group may be savvy enough to complete the hardest initial quests on elite (WWs, Stealthy Repo, Irestone Islet, etc).

Our guildmembers are encouraged to also offer extreme assistance in all harbor-related quests, favor-unlocking for drow and build questions. The most important thing is to remember there is more than one way to skin a drow -- do not impress upon a new player that there is only ONE correct way to play or do any specific quest.

We're looking forward to "new" experienced players signing on with The Last Harbormasters -- a guild of leaders designed to teach the throngs of new players and future leaders of Cannith.

New Adventure Packs

Sentinels

In this new series of swashbuckling adventures from DDO, join the Sentinels as they seek to defeat the pirate scourge. But don’t think you’re safe once the seas are clear: the skies themselves will rain scurvy death—and scurvy undead. • Cut the pirate lair off the map in a daring assault!
  • Close down the booty business at the Pirate Mart
  • Zombie Pirates! Board their black ship to cut them off at the source!
  • Root stinking pirate spies out of the House of Deneith!
  • Will you defeat Captain Tew and discover the infamous pirate leader's ultimate secret?

Posted Today by Tarrant:

Due to the overwhelming success of Dungeons & Dragons Online®: Eberron Unlimited™ and the massive growth in our player population, we’re proud to announce that a new high-capacity server world is opening on November 4, 2009! The new server is named Orien, after the famous Dragonmarked noble house in Eberron. House Orien is an integral part of Xen'drik's trade and transportation systems due to their renowned magical travel and teleportation abilities. The launch of the Orien server comes on the heels of the hugely successful launch of DDO Unlimited and just after our first major game update, underscoring our ongoing commitment to the franchise and the amazing popularity of DDO Unlimited. We’ll see you in-game!

NOTE: Orien will be open to new characters only. Character transfers will not be available for the new world at this time.

“Orien” In Eberron lore:

The Mark of Passage is displayed on humans of House Orien. The mark appeared almost two thousand years ago, and it quickly allowed House Orien to dominate in the areas of transportation and teleportation. Orien’s Courier’s guild quickly and discreetly delivers packages through its vast transportation network. Orien’s Transportation guild operates an immense number of caravans, both in Xen’drik and elsewhere. In Stormreach, the Orien Courier’s guild provides the Mail system. House Orien also works closely with the House Kundarak to help with the city’s Auction House.
