Our Champions located the alien threat in Steelhead and managed to send them retreating to an ancient Roin’esh spacecraft buried beneath the Canadian ice for centuries. After successfully retrieving the ancient alien artifact, the Roin’esh were able to board a ship and power it up in an effort to escape Earth.

It’s now time to take the fight to them, and to reclaim the artifact before it falls into the wrong hands!

((Due to the fantastic success of the Summer Social held this July, we've decided to do it again! This December, we would like to invite all of you guys to join us for a special, two-day social event! The Winter Social is open to all RPers, regardless of experience or Super Group affiliation. Invite any and all the friends you want! Know someone who's toying with the idea of RP but isn't sure? Invite them too. We'll all be doing the same.

On Saturday 10th December, at 1pm Server Time/9pm GMT we will be hosting an "In-Character" Costume Contest! I'd like to invite a few people from outside the Guardians to come and help with the judging - please contact me if you are interested! (My in-game handle is @Geisha-Deconstruct) There will be multiple categories, and we have some really cool prizes lined up. The Contest will be held on Great Bear Lake in Canada, and we will get information to you regarding the instance on the day.

Costume Contest Categories:

• The Unavoidable Holiday Theme Round
• The "Action Man" Round - Classic Style that would look Fantastic in Plastic! (Action Girls are always welcome to apply!)
• Hero Best Suited to Appear in a Yoghurt Commercial - we want something heroic and marketable here!
• The Grimdark Anti-Hero Extravaganza - For those who look best in Black Leather, Black Leather and Black Leather!
• Mr. Beefcake - Best Male
• Ms. Cheesecake - Best Female
• Best in Show - with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Prizes

and

• The Shamelessly Stolen "People's Choice" Award!

And some honorary mentions, of course!

Then on Sunday, December 11th, at 1pm Server/9pm GMT, we will be hosting a "Winter Ball" in Champions HQ. Feel free to interpret this theme however you want! We'll have on-the-spot prizes for interesting or unusual costumes, and some for even just turning up! Again, everyone is welcome - and we might just be auctioning off some eligible Guardians to raise money for various charities based in Millennium City!
