Welcome to the Camp of the Pathfinders of Arthedain! We are a group of players dedicated to the understanding and appreciation of J.R.R. Tolkien's writings about Middle Earth. All of us are veterans of assorted massive multi-player online games, and have come to together to roleplay and enjoy the story of Lord of the Rings Online to its fullest extent. We are not solely dedicated to leveling our characters, questing and raiding for awesome equipment and items as many players of Massive Multi-player games are. Our kinship is comprised of mature adult members of college age and older with lives of our own to tend to. Because of this, we are very understanding and easy-going for players who, like us, can not divulge a vast ammount of time to playing online throughout the week. Our members have good common sense and respect for eachother, a fact which is a credit to who we are as a kinship and what values we stand for. As a kinship our storyline is such that we roleplay a military company of Rangers set in the northern ruins of Arnor. Our kinship's storyline as it is, is entirely based out of Volume I of Turbine's Epic Quest chain. Although we are not a "Race of Man Only" kinship, our storyline and setting caters more to the race of man than other races of Middle-Earth. Unless your Elf, Hobbit, or Dwarf has a specific reason for wanting to enlist into a company of Rangers of the North, we really have very little to offer you storyline wise. If you are interested in finding out more about our kinship storyline and setting, or perhaps even applying for membership, please visit our forums! ************************************************** *********************************************** You are led blindfolded down a narrow path by hand. After some time of careful step among the thick of the woods, the blindfold is removed and you find yourself standing in a well organised campsite of men. These men are clad in the colors of the woods and appear well armed. Each seems grim faced and determined as they appear to make ready for some sort of engagement, they move with a sense of purpose. A tall, grim faced woman approaches you. "Suilad Randir.. I am Captain Isilene Valcrest, you now stand among the Pathfinders of Arthedain, for many generations have we fought to protect these lands and safeguard our ancestral borders from those who would seek to defile them. The time is now come, when the darkness of the north has come down to threaten our lands once more. We are those few who have mustered together in haste to mount a defense against the Shadow. I trust you are here to draw steel at our side ?"
