Clan Steadfast
Welcome to Clan Steadfast!
This is the forum home for a clan organization on the Rimor Dimension of Anarchy Online. We are a newer org, with roots in tradition based upon gameplay and social experiences since the inception of the game. This org was created with a group focus in mind, to help players of all levels and expansions, and create a diverse community of players who are willing to generate a little bit of extra fun, while enjoying the benefits of what Anarchy Online has to offer. Our current officer focus is recruitment, and we are actively seeking interested players to join up and have fun with us.

Guidelines for Clan Steadfast.
Bubbacrush
, Apr 12, 10 2:42 PM.
It seems that after a while of really only having a couple of guidelines for the members of this org, it has been seen fit to expand upon those two guidelines into several of them, which are quite related. The reason for this is to give an amount of clarity when perceiving all the possibilities that these guidelines could mean. Bu no means is anyone laying blame on anyone right now, because the issue has been brought up, it is merely a deeper explanation of the meaning behind our current system.
Guidelines and Tips:
- Do not spam (repeatedly post) requests in orgchat or spam online members with the same requests via /tell.
- Do not use orgchat as the shopping channel. Advertise items for sale via the game forums, Shopping Channels and/or Neutnet. We try to avoid selling to orgmates. If you are okay with parting with certain items, then this is good. However, if any Steadfast member wished to reject parting with an item, please respect that decision. Remember: Whatever helps the group, helps you, in the larger scheme of things.
- Do not ninja loot. When teaming, in org or out, always make sure you understand the loot rules first (i.e. what is ok to loot freely and what items, usually nodrops, should be rolled).
- Whenever possible, try to team with and help fellow Steadfast members. This can range from buffs to help with twinking or assisting members with tough boss encounters.
- Use the 'Pay it Forward' philosophy. Often times you will receive help from org members with no expectation of them being 'paid back'. Instead, when you have the opportunity, assist others as others have helped you.
- Treat everyone with respect. Don't assume certain things about your fellow teammates, that could be hurtful or insensitive.
- In the event you do not understand or do not know enough about something game-related, ask the group before making a final decision.

Well, today has been quite and interesting day, if not a whole weekend. Friends and family we seem to be pulling together well. Recruitment is seeing some pretty strange heights lately, and in the past this might have been a lil over the top for already established orgs. Some of us, like Jill, are running about like mad helping people. Without that sort of effort and focus into this guild, we would never be nearly as great as we have been.
Honestly, it seem you all have a fire that is much stronger than just a name. You all believe in what were doing here, and that is pretty incredible to see, from me. I can't thank you all enough for coming and doing this thing with me. Its like a couple of us gave birth to something and yall are looking after it like you own it as well. Its true. This thing does not fall on one or two people, but all of us. Its really inspiring for me to sit back and look at it from a distance. There is so much feelgood energy here that even I am looking forward to going over the next push, raiding the next boss, and just chatting and having laughs.
so.. I am going to open the floor for a logo. Anyone have any ideas? I'm going to start working on one... well.. not this late at night, but very very soon. :)
For those of you who wish to join in on this event (and i totally mean you too Tiger).. I am going to make a thread on it, and every now and then we will rotate banners. =) its like kid art on a fridge, only less head petting and more ROCK ON!!!

Looks like things are coming along nicely. We have hit a few snags here and there, but we have alot more members, some officers, and a growing playerbase that is starting to at least get the hang of the game. Kudos to everyone that has helped out new folks, and older toons alike. Without that sort of devotion, we would have never gotten off the ground.
Plans move forward to the effect of getting ourselves a non-instanced city, for tradeshop benefits and the like. I am really getting tired of not being able to sell my own goods without logging to toons i rarely play. Just kinda reminds me of how much i miss them and wish they werent so gimpy. lol
Shu! We miss ya man! Hope the job situation clears up soon(tm). Lots going on I wish you were around for.
We lost one of our tower sites, but not really much of a big deal. It was a large site and there was no way we could really defend it, not without experienced players or help to keep it. The best thing we can hope to accomplish is perhaps get ourselves to fill our remaining tower sites as much as possible.
There is also talk of schedualed raids, but we need far more participation to make this work.

Well, I tried to look at lots of different free forums, for the org. Quite frankly, most of them were very difficult for me to understand how they worked fundamentally. I can only assume that in the dead of night when im messing around with things, it could only get worse for me, with my sleep addled mind. I honestly tried to avoid using Guildportal to host the forums, but found the more I tried to back away from GP. the more I was leaning towards its ease of use. In the end, I knew more about GP then I did about PHPBB, and finally caved. This is the result. Try not to be too disappointed.
