Gearing Up - Heroics

You will first need to work on getting your Helm Enchant when you hit 80.  You can acquire the tabard early on while leveling. In order to get reputation with each faction you must be wearing the faction's tabard while in a heroic. You buy the Tabards from each factions Quartermaster. You also must be Friendly with the chosen faction to buy a tabard.

Wyrmrest Accord - Healer Helm Enchant - Tabard Acquired at top of Wyrmrest Temple in Dragonblight. (Has 2 Dailies, one in Borean Tundra and the other at the temple in Dragonblight.)

Kirin Tor - Caster DPS Helm Enchant - Tabard Acquired at Violet Citadel in Dalaran (Dailies in Dalaran give Kirin Tor Rep)

Argent Crusade - Tank Helm Enchant - Tabard Acquired at the Argent Vanguard in Southern Icecrown. (1 Daily in Zul'Drak)

Knights of the Ebon Blade - Melee DPS Helm Enchant - Tabard acquired at the Shadow Vault in Northwestern Icecrown. You must do a small quest chain at the beginning of Icecrown in order to open up the Shadow Vault. ( 3 Dailies at the Shadow Vault)

You will also need your shoulder enchant from the Sons of Hodir.  You receive your shoulder enchants at honored and a greater one at exalted.  You can use Relics of Ulduar (x10) and Small shards found through the questing area to turn in for reputation as well as the Dailies there. You must do the quest chain in Storm Peaks with the Brunhilder Village, it starts in K3.

Raid Rules

Currently, we are only raiding on the weekends.  Our raid times are not set in stone, but we are generally starting around 7pm server time.

Raid group members should follow these requirements -

ADDONS:
ITEMS:
  • Buff food
  • Elixirs and/or Flasks (or the materials to make them)
  • Healing/Mana potions
  • Bandages
  • Ammunition (Arrows or Bullets)
  • Reagents
All raid members will be required to choose their MAIN spec and have that information saved in their officer note.  You may respec or "hot-swap" specs as needed, but you will only be able to roll on loot that is able to be used by your MAIN spec that is recorded in your officer note.  You will NOT be able to change this information as often as you want.  If you decide to change your MAIN spec, you will need to let us know so that we can update your officer note, and you will not be able to roll on loot for your "new" MAIN spec until the following week (or after raid resets on Tuesdays).  Also, note that if you change your MAIN spec from Tank to DPS or Healer, or any combination, without first letting your raid leader know, you may be replaced and not allowed to run with that raid until your "new" MAIN spec is needed.  Dual Spec'ing can be very useful and sometimes required to finish raids, but if you abandon your position you might be hurting your raid.  Please consider others when respec'ing.  If your raid leader asks you to respec, due to the loss of a healer, dps or tank, note that you will be expected to return to your original spec once that person has returned to the raid.  Of course, you may roll on gear that you can use for your ALT/OFF spec if no one rolls durring MAIN spec rolls.

Rest assured, we are continually revisiting this subject in the Officer forums and Officer meetings.  We are constantly looking at our policies and asking if they are still viable and consistent with our guild's best interests in mind.  We are working hard to maintain a sense of fairness and equal opportunity.  Be patient, be respectful and be understanding.  That's all that we ask.
