"I would sink the ship?" Deriaz echoes again, pondering the idea of that. He knows he is too heavy for a chair, but a whole airship? His eyes wander up to the elemental ring, then back down to Points.

"I suppose I will need something, then. I apologize about my size -- I wasn't aware I would need anything. I didn't know even a ship was too much for me," he says with a bow. Placing the box on the ground, the warforged takes a seat where he stands near the end of the platform.

He stares at the ship for a moment in silence, wondering exactly how strong soarwood is -- apparently not very, as the elf seemed nervous at even the idea of Deriaz stepping onto the ship. Filing it away into his memory of things he needs to be careful around, a list already a bit long, he turns back to Points. "I will take whatever you can offer. Something I could tie around my neck or wrist would be best, I think. . . It's a bit hard to find rings that would come close to fitting my fingers, I assume.

"I'll have to ask Jaggie to stop offering me so many cookies, as well," he adds with a chuckle, hoping his joke is understood.

(written by de Jagzors and a Der-pandas)

Jaggie had already climbed aboard the ship and had not heard the full conversation going on between Points and Deriaz. After a moment though she turned around and saw Deriaz setting on the platform, mentioning something about weight and to many cookies.
"Deriaz?" Instantly she walked over to the sitting blue hulk and tugged on his elbow. "Points, if your ship can't handle a mere half ton I'm left to worry about the weight of your own cargo bay."

Deriaz stumbled to his feet at Jaggie's touch. "Eh! Wait a second!" He pulled away from Jaggie, grabbing the box and then submitting himself to being pulled onto the ship. Immediately, he became concerned as a few of the boards creaked in protest under the Warforged's feet. "But Points said. . ."

"Bah! He's old and doesn't know what he's talking about." With that Deriaz was pulled aboard.

(sorry Points. Shortest adventure ever as we all crashed to our doom inside Stormreach.)

(She really wanted to pull me on board! It wasn't my idea! D: )

(Was too!)

(I seem to remember some talk about him weighing 15 tons back during the Shavarath Vale Titan episode.  Am I going senile? ...)

(Nono, that's a Titan (though I've always guessed at the weight of a Titan. Correct me if it's wrong.). You're right on the number, but that's only when he's running around in that shape, which is -much- more harmful than helpful to him. Otherwise, he sits at 1,100 pounds.)

((*giggles* It's a good thing Jeatra and Lyrica hadn't really boarded the ship yet then.))

Points braces himself by grabbing a stanchion.  When ship barely moves, he looks around at the others sheepishly and relaxes.

"Um... welcome aboard the Thastolia.  We will gather everyone on deck just before we depart.  So please make yourself at home."

Points mutters something about changing clothes and walks awkwardly away.

To accent Point's 'point' about Lyrick dripping all over the boarding platform, one of the winds common around this height brushed past the bard; chilling the already cold and damp clothes.

Shivering, his lips slowly turning blue, Lyrick nodded in appreciation of the elf's judgement. "Of course Points, Flad's Tale got it." Feeling his way along the safety railing of the platorm he began hauling himself up the ramp, eager to be out of his wet things.

Keeper take it, what the hell is Flad's Tale? I don't think i've ever even heard of that...Play it cool Lyrick, play it cool, don't want to ruin your chance to get out of this mess...

Host preserve me, how in Khyber did that troll-spawn come out of the mesmerization that fast?...

Lost in his own thoughts Lyrick paused in his quest for a guest-cabin only to nod at both Nklos and Points and give half a bow in the direction of Jaggie and Valianna as he passed them by.

After mumbling past frozen lips to a sailor for directions to the guest-cabins Lyrick went below decks, his thoughts already drifting from his current "situation" to how nice a change of clothes would feel.

Sunky made his way up the airship spire, his hand clinging reassuringly to on of the straps of his ever present pack. He was dressed in his blue vestments, with his usual rapiers sheathed at each side. Points made the trip out to be a vacation get away, but Sunky knew better, and came prepared in his usual adventure garb, prepared for anything and everything. He arrived at the top of the spire, looking over Points' new ship, an impressive large vessel, and was quite impressed. He reached the gangplank and announced his presence, loudly asking, "permission to come aboard?"

Points looks up at the voice and straightens his robe before replying "Permission granted."

"Welcome aboard the Thastolia Sunky.  The Air-men will show you to your quarters.  We'll be gathering everyone shortly on the deck for announcements, our departure and a tour of the ship.  In the mean time, the Galley is open and you have a little while to settle in."

Deriaz kept his arm held out as Jaggie dragged him on board, but he continually kept being fascinated by the elemental ring. Eventually, he stopped in his tracks and stared straight up at it. After a moment, he snapped back to attention as Points said announcements would be made on the deck.

The warforged glanced over to the entrance into the ship. He looked down at himself, then shrugged the box to adjust his grip again. With a touch of curiosity, he slipped into the passengers' quarter, ducking under the frame of the door to avoid running his face into it.

To his surprise, he found himself a bit cramped in the hallway. A simple adjustment of turning slightly as he walked allowed him to slide down the hallway, peering into some of the rooms. Noting Zolt, he salutes as best he can in the hallway, he pauses to stare around at the room. "Bit small. . . Maybe Points has some bigger rooms somewhere else on the ship," he says idly, not directed to Zolt but loud enough for the drow to hear. "Er, sorry to bother you," he adds, realizing he was talking aloud. Awkwardly shuffling around, box still under arm, he manages to turn himself around and head back onto the deck.

Another duck under the frame, and he was free. His mouth opens to ask Points where some bigger rooms are, yet he doesn't speak. Seeing as the announcements were coming soon, the warforged figured it best to stay on the ship deck. He moved over to the side, gently placing the box of weaponry down and taking a seat carefully next to it, trying his hardest not to let his weight just fall upon the soarwood. "This'll do, I suppose. Good view here."

With that, he sits and waits for the announcements.

((Lyrica:  As far as I'm concerned, Nklos still has Ty at the moment. Vali was ready to take him if Nklos was going to leave to look for other people.))

Seemingly lost in her thoughts and not noticing the approaching halfling, Valianna manages an absent nod in response to Lyrick's bow as he passes.  A moment later she gives herself a little shake and glances in the direction he went.  "I guess I should just..." she indicates the trail of wet footprints with a frown.  "Um, I'll make sure he's okay..."

Following the trail, Vali heads down into the ship before Deriaz can block the way and hurries to catch up to the bard.  "Lyrick?"  ((assuming he stops so she can talk to him...))  Glancing around to see if anyone else is close enough to hear, she looks up at the human and fixes him with a stern expression in her emerald eyes, keeping her voice low.  "What have you been up to?  Are you bringing trouble to this ship?  Points is good enough at finding that on his own, we don't need you bringing us more... especially where we're going."  She looks him up and down, tension apparent in every inch of her deceptively-slight frame.  "Mentor or not, Fellowship or not, I'll throw you overboard myself if you put my family in danger.  Do you understand me?"

Clank. Clank. Clank.

The sound of a cleric in full plate running to the airship docks echoes through the day rather loudly.   Eopia arrives at the port out of breath, flushed, and doing her best not look over the edge of the port, stopping just behind the redheaded elf.  She peers around him to glance at Points standing on the deck.

"Well.  Greetings to all of you.  Nice 'ship, Points."   Her pale eyes examined the ship with a combination of mortal fear at the height below it and an old wistfulness. "Anyway, it's good I arrived when I did... it looks like trouble is stepping on board as we speak." She smiles widely at Sunky, trying to keep her eyes focused on the faces of the two elves.  "Aerenal, huh?  Sounds like fun, mind if I come?"  She re-shoulders the single-large pack that had fallen to her elbow and waits for an answer.
