a thought on the new 1st age symbols. we won't start seeing them until we start OD T2, but we might start doing that soon at least on the tree bosses. we are in a much better place, now that each character only needs X amount of new symbols, where X equals the number of LIs they'd like to have be 1st age (since they are customizable now). give me your thoughts on some sort of system where the symbols get distributed more or less evenly. in other words, instead of just being a roll free-for-all every time we're in there, might we do it where anyone who is in the raid who looses a roll on one, will have a higher chance on the next roll? maybe that'll be too complicated since we tend to have such a small pool of kinmates. and what do we do about pugs? (perhaps this "rule" will encourage kinmates to come often). let me know your thoughts on the matter.

Edit: i would like to avoid or kins former luck in DN of handing out important rolls to every pug we bring in - if even possible

The symbols actually drop on tier 1 as well, just at a much lower rate.  We got one in RoM from the mammoth bosses tonight on tier 1.  Just pointing out that one could drop at any time...

Free for all should be fine. We can always trade between Kin members to balance it out, and it will give Kin the highest chance of winning symbols over puggers.

As far as balancing it out, we should try to get primary characters (currently the one you raid with now) set up with one or two, and then spread the symbols around before gearing alts.

I agree that it would be nice to have a system but almost anything you do becomes complicated quickly.  Maybe something simple like no more than two per person (regardless of the number of characters they have) till any kin member that has gone on 3 of the last 6 runs has at least one.  Everyone would roll to help keep them in kin rather than loose them to PUGS.  Unfortunately I think you can't limit the pug rolls since without them we can't go and we've used it as a primary way of recruitment in the past.

Now I just need to figure out which of my characters is my primary......
