I don't know if this is temporary, but.... my main page is now missing the left side and Navigation bar.

Checked out your banner area custom html -- you had a doubled-up set of script openers with one closer, and the positioning of the comments was off a little, so it was treating all the contents after that (up to the point where center content started) as commented html.

Edit: lol.  I meant it was time for me to stop breaking things.

Ahhhh! I wonder if that happened when I removed the redundant script for the Info Section that I relocated.

Thanks, it's all better now! Disregard the ticket I just entered a few minutes ago.

I cannot.  Once a ticket is entered, there is no going back.

ok apparently the whole thing is being flakey... now when I save, it keeps the first script and strips out the second. In the example below, it would keep the link (script in green) and dump the second (in red)
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://somescript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
// this code gets stripped along with the script tags surrounding it
</script>

Yep, that's what's been happening to me for a while now. To work around it, I can move the src line to another box without any other javascript.

It seems to be the src line that's causing this, since I can have at least 2
<script type="text/javascript">
</script>
segments in one box without it being stripped away.

Bizarre, since it's doing it in the Info Sections editor, but not the, say, welcome message editor (both using the same control).  On it.

I'm really very sorry about all this.  Once it's nailed down everyone will be a lot happier.  I swear -- third party components!  Brings me back to my debates at eCollege over the whole Buy VS Build question!

Ok, it seems to be getting worse about stripping out scripts... sometimes now the preview mode trick doesn't even work. =(
