Description
This mod allows you to add a YouTube video and change the player styling along with other options. Also, you can easily add a mp3 audio file using the basic Google mp3 player
or a player that can easily be styled (Wordpress player)

Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).

Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7.
What's strange is that on this account (Kainda K'Naae), I'm unable to access my mail because it looks like the screenshot I've posted above.
The account I use for a different character on the same computer, I'm totally able to access my mail without any problem.
Could it be an issue with admin status vs. non-admin status?

I'm not sure. My fellow admin has no problem accessing his email and the like, and I think he's got the same specs as me.

I'm going to roll this back today. We've had too many reports of problems running under operating systems like the Mac or alternative browsers only a release or two behind current. For the (few, I'm thinking at this point) who liked the new UI, my apologies. To the rest who felt it was evil incarnate, sorry for having pushed it in the first place!

Thank you. BTW, I love guildportal, I've been using it for years!
But this habit of changing things that aren't broken, pushing them live without open testing, and then annoying everyone with a great new "feature" they didn't ask for, they don't want, and didn't even know was coming... well, it seems a bit unorthodox.
Personally I was really annoyed when the mail system changed without any warning, and obviouslyl not enough testing. Were window panes really that essential to waste so much time and cause so much grief over?
How about spending some of that time answering service tickets instead? I've submitted a few recently about things not working, and have no idea if it's a bug, something I'm doing wrong, something you are working on,
or something you just don't care about
cause you are coming up with another crazy new feature that no one wants...

Ok sorry if i sounded a bit harsh...
I really DO love guildportal, and I recommend it to everyone I meet. I've been using as far back as I can remember... I can't even count how many subscribed sites I've had.
But isn't there anyway to have some kind of test server with new changes and features where dedicated users like myself can make test sites and try out the new changes before you push them live? Wouldn't that make your life as a developer easier?

Possible, yes, but a bit of additional overhead. If I avoid sweeping, invasive changes like the mailbox thing and do them incrementally in digestible bits, things should be better.

Thanks for recommending the site to people, by the way! We don't have an advertising budget to speak of, so word of mouth is really the only thing we can rely on.

Thanks for the update, Aaron. It was a good idea and when all the bugs are ironed out, it will be a nice addition.
I'd give you some April Fools suggestions to do to the GP network, although ppl would prob think it was working as usual... LOL J/k!!!
I do appreciate the effort you do to bring us newer stuff!

This is how you learn, right? Sometimes it just doesn't work like you planned! But you guys always work hard to make things right and for a site of this scale with so few hands to make everything run smoothly, I think you guys are doing a fabulous job and I appreciate y'all's communication while it gets worked on!
