Aaron, I asked about this feature a month and a half ago and I never really got a response from you.IRC is a big part of how some guilds communicate when they can't be in-game and as it stands now - anybody can use MIRC to "take hostage" our guild room.We *need* chanserv and nickserv associated with the IRC rooms. Please add this to the "to-do" list - or flip the switch that turns them on, please.Thank you.Spider@WoW(aka Destroy@AC)

I believe I answered this by replying to the support ticket you submitted... Might have junk mail filters blocking?

Anyway, we're looking at replacing the IRC services with something elsealtogether.  Something web-based, that doesn't require firewallports being opened (for those who hit GP from work), that will allowmultiple rooms based upon guild-specified categories, and without theneed for a java client or lowered browser security levels.

Awsome because as it stands now work blocks the chat servers... and that is when that function is the most usefull anyway.

Other option would be to put it on its own non-web server, listening onport 80.  That'd get around any shops not blocking web traffic, and then we'd go the route of setting up all the bells and whistles ofstandard IRC services.  A dedicated chat server would be a pretty 'spensive thing to do, though.

Still investigating web-based...  Most I've seen are really cheesey with the continual page reloads, since IEmakes a little clicking sound every time.
