I would love it if there were some way to set up the quests section of the site into different categories.  Right now the quest editor does let you pick a category, the only problems is, the only category is miscellaenous and I cannot find any way to add other categories.  I think I've probably asked about this before, but couldn't find my old post and the search feature isn't working.

Does anyone know of a way to sort the quests into different categories other than lumping them all under misc?  If not, it would really be great if we could set up our own categories (similar to how we do it for the forum categories).  I know for AC2, I'd like to be able to sort them by continent.

Heya,

If you've got a list of categories in mind, go ahead and shoot them to me at aaronlewis@guildportal.com and I'll add them in.  Typically the first person to submit a category list for a game gets it implmented for everyone else, if the list makes sense (and by continent sounds great).

Judging by what Aaron had said, it appears that no one had suggested categories.  I (and very likely most others) had not known this was necessary but had removed the widget from the page as "Misc." was not a viable or helpful category.  Many categories would be commonsense at least for start, but I will post a list here when I get extra time if someone has not already done so by that time.

Oh wow.  I just noticed that this post was from 4 years ago!  Maybe I/we on our site are seeing a bug as I have to imagine that there is NO way that Misc. would still be the only category after all of this time?
