I'd like the ability to set posting/viewing rights by access level perforum. I have a guild rules forum I want to be postable by Officers butviewable by members.

I'm not so concerned about access levels but do wish our forums had some of the features I see almost everywhere else.

First, in most forums, the search feature is FAR more robust.  You can search the body of the messages and you can limit searches by forum or date.

Also, in most forums, I can click on a thread and be taken immediately to the newest unread message.  I assume cookies are used to track which message I last looked at.  With Guildportal forums, I have to guess which message I last read.  I can see that a thread has new messages but then, when I click on a multi-page thread, I have to navigate to the correct page and message.

OK, just need to know whether it would be good enough to be able to set the rights based on security level, or if you need to be able to do it per member.
