Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post
.

Fingers of Fury!
I have noticed that a reoccuring event I have setup on the Event Calendar all the sudden jumps ahead 1 hour. I have checked the Admin logs, and no one has changed the event(s).
I also see another member who has setup an event it all the sudden does that too, not sure if they set it as reoccuring or not.

Is the actually event time changing? Like if you go to "Edit" the event has that time changed?
Or is just showing on the calendar an hour ahead?
If it is the second issue, that is the site changing the event to show when it should start, depending on the timezone you set in "profile"

Here is a run down of what I have:
Reoccuring event (Guild Lotto Drawing) setup for every Sunday @8pm CST. The event is listed correct (display and actual time) for the dates 2/5/2012 - 3/4/2012. After that, the rest of the reoccuring times are listed as 9pm CST up until 7/1/2012 (this is as far as I set the event to reoccur, or it was the max allowed reoccurance, can't remember which it was). There is no way someone would have changed that many events manually
So Time Zone setting isn't a factor here, since it is changing after a few occurances.
The same thing for a Raid event another user setup. Its correct up until 3/4/2012, then it advances by 1 hour after that date.
I also see another user setup another Raid event that is experiencing the same issue. After 3/4/2012 the time advances by 1 hour for the start time.
So something is happening on the Calendar for dates past 3/4/2012 w/reoccuring events is my guess.

Not a problem. Should have provided more details in first post. You think being in IT and telling my users to do that I would do it myself

Another update to this issue:
I just created another reoccuring event that starts at 9pm cst and ends at 12am cst. Same thing, the event shifted its time once it was past the week of 3/2/2012.

My hope is that a fix for this would go with Fridays updates.
