Fingers of Fury!

I've solved it!  Just thought I'd update with how I did it.  Working example here

Just go to:
Control Panel > Style & Colors > Banner Area
Put that line of .js in the code box and make sure it is enabled, then click save.  That's it!

Now all you have to do is whenever you insert a link, use a link from Wowhead.

Becoming Adept!

Would you mind sharing what the line of javascript is please?

Scratch that. For anyone wondering the code is -script src="http://www.wowhead.com/widgets/power.js"--/script-

Make sure to replace the - with < and >

Also for non GP subscribers place this script in your footer instead of your header.

If you're using an image you need to insert that little blurp of GP code in the box over where you put your image html.

Then whenever you create a hyperlink for an item, use the url for the item on the wowhead site.  I usually type the name of the item in for the hyperlink text that it will show.

The banner area is a table. I have placed it in the table, out of the table, below the table, before the image and after.

I am missing something

now i am trying to use the wowdb script should go in the same place yes?

Here is our page. the only thing it does is mess up the banner page

Is there an easy way to make the Quality Color work?  From the Hyperlink Manager, I can easily link the item, and that works, but it shows up as the default link color.  I read the howto, so I understand I can put class="q4" in the link, but I've only been able to make it work by manually editing the html of my news / forum post.  Am I missing an easier way?

I used the wowhead.com method and it does work fine.  However, it's a little too cumbersome for the average user.  Getting the ID of an item for instance.

Are there any plans to integrate this function into GP like you did with the Armory Roster?

Thanks
