GP,

Would like the ability (As I am sure most here do for most games) to assign rights to my officers to review Applications. Currently, IF we want them to be sent the app, we have to make them SUPER ADMINS. Well in my opinion, that is opening the doors for alot of potential issues. Please see if you can make it an assigned rights or something so we don't have so many people that can botch up a website because they are SUPER Admins.

GP Admins,

Just would like to mention again (as I am not sure if you respond to these) - would love to see the ability to grant access to Officers in guild to get notified of GP Applications with out making them Super Admins. Having alot of super admins isn't 'best practice' in any security setup.

Members can now be individually granted the ability to approve and reject new applications.  You can get to the new admin right by clicking Member Admin from any guild page.  When there are new applicants, people who have been granted this right will see a link titled "New Applicants," with the number of pending applications shown after it.

Sandy,
Thank you for the response (I meant to come back and remove this actually 2nd post) as I went through and was looking at the "updates" and saw this was added. Aaron also mentioned that email notification may be added soon also Thanks for all the hard work!

I am the leader of a Content Raid Progression Guild, heh i know it's a mouthful.

Ok i'll cut to the chase here is my problem, I am trying to use the Quest Widget for the Content from each expansion. Basically what I have done is listed all the content my guild needs to get done for the exp. were doing, this way we can keep track of there progress, and update our master list. The two problems i'm having is:

1. If I try and use another Widget for Quests it just mirrors the current Quest Widget. If it is possible to make multiple versions of this widget it would help my officers and myself out GREATLY!

2. Is there anyway to use the system you use for events to manage the completion of these quests? This way it's a little easier on the eyes to manage who has done what. Maybe set a link up next to "Manage Character Completion" for something like "Show Completed Members" or something and it goes to a page similar to an event.

Ok one last thing, Based on what I was asking on #1, is it possiable to do this for more things, such as news and such. Like I mentioned we are a Content Progression guild, so we need to get A LOT of information out to all of our members.

Thank you for such a great site, you guys do amazing work with this.

Hi.

Please please please can you extend the number of options available for "roles" when signing up for a raid. The current list is far to limited. Ideally I'd like to see a feature added where we can define our own roles, but for generic ones I'd love to see...

Event Host
Main Tank
Off Tank

Plate Healer
Chain Healer
Leather Healer
Healer (any)

Melee DPS
Ranged DPS
Mana Regen
Crowd Control

Many thanks.

I agree with the above.  How hard can it be to allow a user to generate their own list of options in a database?  When someone signs up for a raid, I should be able to see not only the USERNAME, but the CHARACTER CLASS, LEVEL, and be able to easily access their other registered characters so that I can request a class they can play that isn't signed up.  I've got over 500 people registered in the guild in game, and I can't remember all their alt classes and levels.

Also, character status for a sign-up on the calendar shouldn't be a page load, but a drop down list item with a [SAVE] key.  We should be able to change status on the entire compliment of raiders signed up and then save it with a click.  Loading a new page everytime I change someone's registration status is laborious.

One step BEYOND that, is to allow the Raid Leader to design the raid by GROUP and by CLASS and allow people of that class to sign up in that slot, and be approved for it.

PLEASE.

setting slots would prevent the turning away of people who took other slots we did not need because people counted on the sign up page and decided not to attend thinking we were full.

thank you very much

(i know that DKPSYSTEMS has that feature on their calendars)

Server status for EQ2:

I see alot of the games have a server status widget.

EQ2 Server status Examples:
Sony online site
http://www.soe.com/status/
Everquest 2 main page
http://www.everquest2.com/

EQ2 Wire is using JSONP
--

The server status widget I coded for EQ2Wire uses JSONP. You can take a look at it here, and the javascript here.

The page that links to multiple versions and describes a bit more is here.

The server status data comes from the same REST API so it should be able to be adapted for character data.

Hope that helps.

First, Thanks very much for the Hotfix today!  I was really frustrated because we just switched websites (on my request lol).  The one big thing I found I miss most is the ability to give raiders attendance.  Is there any way you can add to the DKP standings right next to DKP and spent a tab for the leaders that shows :    raid %  /  # of raids  /  total raids    :would be great.

Thanks for Help
