Getting Started!

My website for reference: pankekparteh.tk

Ok, so here is my problem. I'm trying to make the boxes transparent, and make the corners of the boxes rounded. My problem is with the part that is the "bottom background"- when i put in the transparent image, right next to the bottom left corner of the boxes there is a little white part (not transparent at all) meaning that somehow the image is overlapped by something or itself. I know the image repeats but idk how it is being overlapped.

Please help, I'm about to tear my hair out!

Hey Rhaeia,

You can stop pulling your hair out, it's not your fault! When you use the GuildPortal Box Border Images, it defaults the image size to the default image sizes. So the top corners are set to be 4 pixels wide and the bottom corners are 22 pixels wide. And it repeats the image - that's why you got the white box! This isn't usually a big deal when you use solid border images, but if you want to use a semi-transparent background, follow the steps below:

Go to Control Panel > Style & Colors > Under Advanced Style Settings, Content Containers: you'll see links to Left, Center and Right

Click each of those links and a you'll get a Custom HTML editor for that content box. Copy the code below into each of those boxes.
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%">
<tr>
  <td width="13px" height="29px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/topleft-1.png');"></td>
  <td height="29px" style="background: url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/CONTENTBOXBG.png');text-align: center;align: left;">
   <div class="ContentBoxTitleNoBackground">$block[title]&nbsp</div>
  </td>
  <td width="13px" height="29px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/toprightcrnr-1.png');"></td>
</tr>
</table>
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%">
<tr>
  <td width="13px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/CONTENTBOXBG.png')"></td>
  <td class="ContentBoxBody" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/CONTENTBOXBG.png')">$block[content]&nbsp</td>
  <td width="13px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/CONTENTBOXBG.png')"></td>
</tr>
</table>
<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" width="100%">
<tr>
  <td width="13px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/bottomleftcrnrcopy.png');"></td>
  <td style="background: url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/URGH.png');">&nbsp;</td>
  <td width="13px" style="background:url('http://i308.photobucket.com/albums/kk322/pankekparteh/bottomrghtcrnr.png');"></td>
</tr>
</table><br>
Now, if you want to get rid of the white background in the content area - like in your shout box or online members - then remove your content box background image ( Control Panel > Style & Colors > Content Boxes > Main Box Body Area - Background Image )

Note: The code above uses your "CONTENTBOXBG.png" image for the repeating top, sides and bottom images since they are basically all the same
