Mail Notification v6
by Mottie
Description
This mod opens a popup to notify you if you have a new mail message. It was written for users who wish to hide their top menu bar (state bar/log in bar). Or if you just want a bigger message telling you that you have mail. I've set it up to open either a growl window (timed popup) or a facebox (popup you have to close).
For more information on the custom variables, please see
this post
.
To style the growl window (pictured above), use the "Growl Window Styling" Mod or refer to
this post
.
To style the Facebox popup window, please refer to
this post

Signup Status Color v5
by Mottie
Description
This mod will add CSS classes to the character status, so you can set the color yourself with the CSS and the script will do the rest. Within the script, you can set it to just color the Status column or the entire row. This is what it will look like:
*Note: this is an old screenshot, but the code still works

Okay so here is my guild website:
http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=305806&TabID=2564263
I am pretty new to this whole HTML and coding stuff.. So i really have no clue as to what i am doing. I tried a couple of Mottie's helpful suggestions and i actually got them to work. But i still feel that the website is lacking something.
Things needed:
Intro banner for Welcome screen. (If anyone wants to make one that would be extremely helpful! and very very much appreciated)
A new Guild Banner for the Homepage. All i did was find and old WoW Banner and slapped the guild on it and the server. Lol
In the Homepage > Raid Progression, is there a way to make it so that it can show OS wit 1 2 and 3 drakes up?
Also on the Roster Section i have made a section for Professions but for some reason i cant figure out how to work it. Is there a way to hook it up to Wow Armory? or Do i have to manually type everyone's professions in?
Lastly, The color scheme. Its horrible. Any suggestions or templates would be praised! Also i was wondering if there was a way to change the Home , Roster , Forums bar colors without having the colors of the text backgrounds to match.
Any and all help would be especially gratified. Especially the banners because i cant work Paint into making magic like some of you can!
Thanks,
Pacemaker
-Oh and also i like the Guild Recruiting/Progression thing all in 1. I just cant figure out how it works. I added the code as you said mottie but it didnt work either
I was lost. Hopefully i can be found. Its a brand new guild so we havent done anything yet. how do i make it so it says Not Killed?

Hi Pacemak3r!
I'll let some of the more talented people help you with designing an intro banner and banner image. But I can help you with the rest...
First off you're missing the tooltips javascript... it used to be integrated into every website, but it was recently removed without any notice, you can add it back by adding the line of code below into your Footer (Control Panel > Site Style (on the right side) > Footer (under Advanced Style Settings)
<
script
src="http://www.axiomfiles.com/Files/243007/dtips.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Raid Progression:
There is a new version of the
progression box with the Ulduar raid
added that also includes OS with 1-3 drakes.
Professions:
Sorry this one you'll have to input the information yourself =( We can't get info from the WoW Armory anymore because Blizzard is cracking down
Site Theme:
Did you try selecting a different theme? Control Panel > Site Style (left) > Browse Themes.
You can change specific parts of the theme you have using the control panel editor - Control Panel > Site Style (left) > Site-Wide Style & Forum-Specific
Also if you do know someone with artistic skills but doesn't own any photo editing software, direct them to an online photo editor -
here is a post
of eleven different sites.
Guild Bar:
This sort of confused me about your site... I saw you added the guild bar to your Roster page in the Banner area... I remembered that any code added in the banner HTML didn't work on free sites. I see it is displaying one image, but the link to the guild bar javascript is missing. You may have to add the script link into the Footer, along with the tooltips script.
