I want to have the Calendar and all the functionality that goes with it EXCEPT the signup feature as we do not require nor want our members to signup for raids.  Is there a way to disable just this part of it?

Any help appreciated

Hi VallarQuendi!

Well, I wasn't sure if you wanted to hide the entire calendar tools bar, so I'll show you how to do it various ways:

  • Hide Entire Calendar Tool Bar (CSS):
    Add this CSS to your Custom CSS section (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Custom CSS > Full Custom CSS (if you are already using it) or CSS Additions to Standard (if you haven't added anything to the full custom css section).
.CalendarTopTools { display: none; }
  • Hide just the view my upcoming events link & the Signup buttons in the event
    This link does have a CSS class associated with it, but for some reason it gets removed during the loading process, so it would be easiest to remove it with scripting. Add the following to your custom javascript seciton (Control Panel > Custom HTML & Script > Custom Javascript/JQuery > Additional Functions). Make sure you enable before saving.
      $('.gpWidget-calendar').find('input[id$=signupButton], input[id$=btnConfirmAllSignups], a[href*="calViewMyUpcoming"]').hide();
